Venables is thick as shit!
Abramovich has not put ANY of his personal wealth into Chelski, what he has done is borrowed the money on the Club itself, and I'm no TV pundit or ex England Manager!
Go looking for a new job instead of talking shit in the Sun you Twonk, Sheff Utd may take you on.

Err... Robinho putting in the crosses from the left? Is this guy chatting out of his arse or is he just fucking blind???

This thread needs boycotting. ANYONE with a brain can see that with Robinho, Chelsea would most probably be top and have a perfectly balanced squad.

Venables isnt having a dig, he's just saying Chelsea didnt have time to sign that kind of player thanks to us and its cost them.

He is a pr*ck though. :op

What are some of you so upset at?

It's a good article by a clever football man; not getting Robby may well cost Chelsea the title, he can cross ("and a whole lot more" as Venables says); why is saying that such a surprise and an apparent indicator of bias by the Sun and stupidity by Venables?

How it can be interpreted as an attempt to upset Robinho beats me; until I read it I'd no idea the Sun actually published intelligent football articles, seeing as I never buy it.

Still not going to buy it though;0)

PS: Robinho HAS been on the left for us?!!! Remember the move where Shaunny back-heeled for Evans? Started on the left. He played at Madrid on the left as well.

Seems like a fair article to me. Robinho would have been good at chelsea and would have balanced their squad. Hopefully we can satisfy his ambition over the next few years and then he will be great for us.

Robinho has never crossed a ball for us, sometimes he has passed it into the box but he has never lofted a ball in for the striker to attack.

Im not paranoid...who said that????????????? :0

This isn't an attempt to upset Robinho, or destabilise City, it is just an article saying Robinho would fit in well at Chelsea. This is not in itself, a sufficient reason to boycott the newspaper is it?
