I genuinely think the referring in this country is first class. I don't go to the match to watch the referee and think over a season decisions even themselves out.
For every one where we benefited I'd say there'd be 7 against us, evens itself out ,my arse, there's a website out there that went through all the games again & gave the correct desicions, at the time a few months ago Manchester City were top of the league.....that game at Spurs proved it beyond doubt to me....they are cheats.The linesmen got a couple wrong at Spurs but I can think of one or two where we have benefitted. They are human beings doing a job to the best of their ability. Can anyone on here honestly say dean is better than clattenburg or Taylor I am that not bothered by it - those are the only 3 I could name.

If you had asked me this time last season, I would have agreed with you. This season has shaken my confidence in both the competence and fairness of PL refs. I think overall, the standard we have seen in the CL has been far better. It's bizarre that Clattenburg has got the ECL final. @MadchesterCity had some great stats for last season regarding our fouls for and against that also made very interesting reading.
