and It's Michael again...

it's not only the obvious incorrect decisions it's the small ones like booking our central midfields and full backs for non fouls/ first fouls/ soft fouls that stop us challenging in the game as well. I think the bad decisions have actually cooled down now. For some reason that correlates with when we were out of the title race probably coincidence.

The absolute proof of an agenda/corrupt/bias whatever anyone wants to call it was the refereeing before the 6-1, after the 6-1 until Vieira's comments in the Feb, then afterwards. I guarantee there's not a single person on here who can explain that. The fact it took the club to produce documentation detailing certain referees and the subsequent removal of those referees from the game in this country is very telling.

I am not a fan of Anthony Taylor as coming from Wythenshawe he shouldn't really be refereeing our matches, however last home match I thought he did a good job.

The likes of Clattenburg I absolutely despise, still not got over that penalty awarded against Spurs - how he got away with that I will never know.

How do you explain the Sterling handball that Clattenburg gave against I think Tottenham at home?

There is clear TV evidence he couldn't see it.
Poor refereeing. :) These guys guess a lot, and the personality of the red affects their performances

That's not poor refereeing, that's cheating. If you don't see it, you can't give it. It really is that simple. I have no problem if it's a genuine mistake but seeing something that didn't happen is flat out cheating, no other way to describe it.

I never understand posts about referees or people who care who we get to be honest. Never really notice them - all of them are of a good standard. They get most decisions correct and have a thankless task.

You need to get your eyes tested mate.

The standard of refs is at an all time low imo, generally a useless bunch of overpaid celeb wannabes who have a massive impact of who wins trophies.

My eyes are fine when i have the galsses on.

So do we sack then all? I find it comical that I am accused of wumming for saying I think the standard is good and always has been in this country. shows a very blinkered view and paranoia to think there is an agenda against us by referees. No wonder young lads are put off doing it. I couldn't tell you who has refereed a particular match this season fro us apart from Clattenburg v Spurs because everyone has gone on about it. Couldn't tell you who it was v Arsenal last week and I was there. It just doesn't interest or effect me or the game. I am glad I am not one of those tits who says - "oh bloody hell we have got Dean today, we will get nothing".

We are not at our best this season just like the referees in your opinion its called life - ups and downs in everything.

I think we are in danger of becoming a club full of moaning bastads.

I think Mike Dean is the best ref in the Premiership. Beats Clattenburg hands down in my book.

Ok, we seem to have a definition issue here: in refereeing Cheating will be when you purposely make a wrond call, knowing the opposite is true, with the intent to favor one side over the other. Makeup calls are a form of cheating.

Poor refereeing on the other hand is when you make a call thinking it's the right call, but in fact it is wrong, and you missed it because of your poor positioning, communication or just bad luck.

Most refs fall into the latter category, not the former.

You are late. We've been that for a long while now. :)
Some things are more worthy moaning about than others. The standard of referees most certainly comes in that bracket. I'm not sure I'd trust anybody who believes they're doing a good job in the main. Bar a small handful they're the poorest group I've seen since the Premier league began.

I agree with you. So I'll show some restraint and not moan about how much I agree with you. :)

Can one think they're shit without one believing there's an agenda?

no it is cheating, because as a referee you don't guess to give a decision. If you don't see it, you don't give it unless you inherently want to give it for some reason. If the police acted like that they'd end up like South Yorkshire Police...

You can think what you want as anyone can. It goes back years this, poll was shit because his name rhymed with arsehole, webb was shit becasuse he was a big copper and now its clatteburgs turn because he has had his hair done. Ellery the old headmaster used to get it as well.

The current lot seem quite young, maybe with a few years experience they will continue to improve.

Funny you should mention three yellows, he has admitted since retirement that he was influenced by certain managers. The very definition of a shit referee.
