that would mean we wouldn't get Barkley atleast this summer considering Sanchez cost £35 million. I'd rather have Barkley than Sanchez.

Given our struggles over recent years trying to get players out of the door, I would be amazed if a) We managed to get buyers for all of them and b) We got anything like those prices, especially for the likes of Rodwell.

That seems a lot of players to shift quickly in order to bring in Barkley before the start of the season. Imagine we would want Barkley (& maybe one other) in before the trip to St James Park.
