we will have to get used to it and have a very big back bone

we will be here for years to come and for the next 10 years or so we will be the team to beat in england a team of winners

everybody hates winners and manchester city have today just but down the roots for the next 10 years
people did think our new owners would walk away from manchester city a club like manchester city dont win things its not right for our club/players/fans to feel the winning way and we dont have any history just pockets of money

well today my friends manchester city football club are back

Excellent post.

I watche din the pub and every non-City fan, and even those with no interest in footbal, was shouting for us to get beat. One or two of 'em got both barrells at the final whistle.

Watched the game in my local in Preston, gutted I could'nt get a ticket for this one. However was reassured that at least the non partisan support would be firmly behind us.
Was absolutely amazed at the massive cheer when Pool equalised. I knew the place was half full of leftover plastic scousers and teletext rags, but I was stupified.
My belief in life was revived when a mate, strong North Ender, absolutely waded into 'em all (verbally) for their temerity in daring to raise anything but scorn for the Lashers, in a Preston boozer. I of course strongly supported him.
Rest assured there was no repeat for the 2nd goal.

Got to say we must have hit the woodwork at least 5 times and the midfield never quite got in its groove, adebayor looked extremely rusty he couldnt get his touch right at all, silva completely changed the game when he came on the chants came out he is already becoming our little 'iniesta' hopefully Yaya Toure will be back on thursday to replace barry
Not heard on kolarovs status though....hope hes back soon

All I know is deep down other fans would rather watch silva tevez johnson and milner than those OAPs on the 'other' side of the city with giggs scholes o shea and van der sar.
Saying that I agree, we would rather be feared then jeered for being a joke like the last part of the 'keegan' era. We easily matched chelsea for physicality and no doubt they are our biggest threat, United are old and slow and arsenal are tricky but small
