This kind of post gives me the arse. It shows a total lack of understanding of the people that support this club.
I was born in St Mary's hospital and grew up in a Wythenshawe council house. I attended my first game when I was seven and regularly thereafter until I moved to London aged 18 (no work prospects). Despite living in London, I've held a season ticket ever since I could afford one and on average miss perhaps two/three (cup) games a year. I've two City supporting kids who attend games with me.
If I'd have won, would I not have deserved it as much as you? Are my kids not 'proper' City fans?
We are bigger than Manchester and we'll only get more so. People better get used to it.
BTW Congrats to the fella that won.
