Nothing wrong with singing about them and viceversa,all over the world local rivalries create
atmosphere even when not playing each other.Even the likes of Hamburg with Bayern .
Hamburg have flags and banners up slagging Bayern at all their games.It doesn't mean obsession its genuine rivalry and for me its no problem long may it continue

Correct. Don't see the problem myself. At the end of the day, City didn't have a game last night - if we had played as well as the Rags then there wouldn't be half as many threads about them popping up on here. It was a slow news day with regards to our own club and that coupled with the fact that there was only one game last night which just happened to involve them means that there are bound to be more threads about them than usual.

Absolutely nothing wrong with singing songs about your rival teams...whether the teams are playing each other or not!
However, what has been said on here is true...United fans have always said they don't care about us, but come Derby Day they become obsessed! And yes, they are scared of our wealth now which I absolutely love!!
I'd also like to point out that after the match on Sunday a rag fan called City Fans 'Glory Supporters'! Hmmmm.....!

There's nothing wrong with singing the (right) songs about United, they are our local(ish) rivals. They can claim they don't care about us as much as they like, we know it's all bravado, in actuality they care more about us than they'd like to admit.

I watched the match with A rag mate who tried to claim we sing about them as much as they sing about us, the fact is 2 or3 songs a game are sung about utd, last night I made a point of mentioning it every time I heard the word city sang it was pathetic, even if the song isn't about city they still like to put us IN there. Now that doesn't bother me I love the rivalry (hatred) between us, what does make me laugh is the fact they claim were meaningless to them. Yeah right
