Andorra v England - Sat 7th June '25, 17:00 | World Cup Qualifier

Yes, because I know the expectations at international football, it’s never that pretty, players nervy and not used to their team mate around them, lower opposition set out to frustrate and load of other factors - I don’t see why people don’t understand this and just assume we should be winning 5-0 playing like prime Barcelona every match. It’s funny that Southgate was to blame for every underwhelming match and I explained at the time you can bang on about what players should play, tactics and formations but end of the day no manger will drastically change anything - it’s international football. Fortunately we do have a crop of great young players, often dominate matches and win. That’ll do me.
You're easily impressed, but I guess that's what happens when you're forced to watch your lot every week!

I'm not so sure. I want England to win even at bloody tiddlywinks. Nothing would delight me more than seeing an England side actually win a trophy and play good football. Sadly I think I'll die without ever seeing it happen.

Can't say having a foreign manager is great either, not against the rules but it's a cop out imho.

Yes but, what is actually ENJOYABLE about this?

If we win 10-0 people will also moan that’s it boring because the opposition are bunch of postmen etc
There will never be much pleasing when England play lower ranked teams - I don’t mind watching us dominate and win personally and see a few of the young players having a try.
