To be fair to Phil look at the shit players around him in England. Plus southgate who drain his confidence.
Said it before when Phil is at his normal standard he is to good for England, shame his parents weren't Spanish.

Funny how Southgate got the shit all these years for any underwhelming performance despite me constantly saying it’s just the nature of international football and it will never change regardless of who’s manager, will get the odd occasion where we win these games 5/6-0 and odd occasion where’s there great entertainment in later stages of tournaments, same for every side in international football.

Agree with some of that but he has played his part or should I say he hasn't. I'm more concerned with him getting good for City first, if he does he will get called up again.

Funnier still that both of them picked J Henderson, perhaps a more attacking manager may have been what we were asking for?

One cannot argue with that we have all seen many a shite performance in these type of games even under Bobby and Tel who were the best English sides I've seen.

True. These teams are 100% bus parking experts.

However you need to be ready for it as an international side. Have a plan for it. We have no pace up top, no balls over the top and crossing is poor. If you know this team wont be able to get out of their own half you need to take more risk. More crosses, more shots etc.

He was shit at times but the dullard didn’t get him as a football player consistently shoved into positions where he has no chance to shine, when Phil was pissing the league in CM, playing on the half turn he shoved him out wide or played the ego maniac too close to him.
