But there were several very good signings last Summer by various clubs but has soon as he signed for 8/10 million he was instantly hailed as the best
He means Alexis MacAllister who, I agree, would have been the perfect Gundogan replacement. Was gutted we let them get him. Of course he might not have wanted to come but at £35m he would have been an amazing signing.Liverpool only have one Italian. Chiesa.
Not sure who you think is the Gundogan replacement.

Goalposts have moved though as he states Juve want €80m even though earlier this week it was €50m being touted as a fee that would be acceptable. Admitted on podcast that city have the money as evidenced by their spending this window and on Haaland new contract so will ask for more.

Ok if this guy comes in this window we have 3 new defenders in we have 7 on our books lets say Walker is off then we have 9 defenders for the rest of the season there must be some more leaving

the regista system relies on the 3 at the back to become 5 with the wingbacks dropping back and the sweeper stepping up as a proxy DM to support the playmaker.
If excecuted properly your 25 yard line is a solid 6 players but ready to push up once in possesion.
A system used for decades by some teams to great effec, butbit requires discipline and cohesion
