Andrew Marr

well im not defending Johnson here, but having travelled extensively I can tell you straight there are many worse places to live in the world than the UK.
I have travelled to,and i agree, but those in position of power and influence have allowed this country to deteriorate to an unacceptable level. Also, the fact other places are even bigger shitholes shouldnt be an excuse for the state of ours, thats very poor reasoning.

sorry but i believe you are wrong, spin a globe and put your finger on it and I bet nine times out of ten you would rather stick with the UK than than the country you land on.

I took you up on your challenge,it spun in Kazakhstan,I'll do a bit of research before I book any flights like, but I doubt they'll have as many foreigners or ignorant (we know better) arseholes.

Gas and electric will be a lot cheaper as well

Arguable at this present moment mate

It's really not arguable.

I've been all over the world and there's only a couple of countries I've been to that I'd possibly prefer to live in than the UK, Canada and Germany (if I was fluent in the language). Honourable shout out to Norway too.

No its not, its a straight comparison. In no way would i call this country that. Sure its got many areas that it can improve on and we should be working hard to fix those things. But I would politely suggest you have not travelled much beyond the western world if you truly believe this country to be what you describe. I would also add that if i truly felt as you did i would leave to live in one of the many better places?

Marr "If I'm in Scotland and want to leave the Union, how do I do that?"
Johnson "The referendum in 2014"

Um... so first stage is to invent time travel?

He's a parrot on repetition, but can't remember or get right what he's trying to repeat.

Johnson. "40 years seems to be about the right gap between referenda, how about that?"
You've just made that up, haven't you?

At this stage you could be forgiven for thinking he works for the SNP. He is helping their case for independence no end.

If you were a Conservative Scottish MP you must be watching that interview with your head in your hands.

On another note, he continues the jolly idiot act at a time when people are wondering what is going on with the vaccine, if schools going to shut and if a national lockdown is needed. His lack of knowledge of the detail is so poor, going on national tv the first and obvious question was going to be the vaccine when can we get it etc. Depressing stuff.

So with those examples you have given,it is arguable then eh

Cheers Boris

Canada is right up there, Greece and Southern Italy aswel. I havent been to NZ, i have heard great reports but its too far from the rest of the world for me.

I was just thinking how the SNP will take what Johnson has just said! I believe that there are some in the Conservative machine who will be quite happy for Scotland to leave, as it makes a Conservative majority far more likely.

The question about how much vaccine there is ready to go was inevitable, I agree, and he just quoted the 530k (I think) without any explanation of previous figures being so wrong or misleading. He also claimed the Moderna vaccine, but I haven't heard we've got any yet, and I thought only a small amount was ordered - and that'll be after the US get theirs.

Like Greece & Italy when I visited but not sure I'd want to live in either country, Greece in particular due to the experiences encountered when out & about with a black work colleague of mine.

any wonder #resign is all about him as it trends on twitter - Tory MP's can't be happy - at the moment were there a GE many would lose their seat

Everything is a reason for independence to the SNP.
