Andrew Marr

Did Farage declare what his party's Health Policy is? What are the Brexit Party's Defence plans? Transport.......................? No. Thought not.

With Widdecombe on board reproductive rights, climate change and gay marriage are safe, and we all know Nigel loves the NHS.

In a perverse way the Brexit Party is the Tories unplugged, unplugged from reality.

And the state broadcaster promotes them over all others.

Impartiality my arse.

Looks like the Brexit party will walk the euro elections according to the latest pols. Farage is without doubt very popular, dare I say significantly more so than any of the main party leaders. It isnt really difficult to see why when you see what he is up against. This is despite the constant vilification of the leave campaign and him in particular by the remain protagonists. Seems the penny just hasn't dropped with the likes Umunna, Allen, Cable, Sturgeon and the awful Bliar. And not forgetting the truly awful Corbyn and May combo. They tried this three years ago and it didn't work. It will actually be quite funny to see them all squirming if he walks it. What excuses will they come up with next?

Blaming backstabbers and betrayers has worked before.

Lol.

Faces like Gammon everywhere!
Marr played into his hands perfectly today. Farage’s pitch to the British people is that there is an establishment stitch up underway, and Marr illustrated that with his attempted hatchet job which backfired spectacularly, with Farage able to bemoan the fact that he wasn’t asked about Brexit or the political crisis that faces the country. Meanwhile on the other side Remain was represented by.......Tony Blair. You’ve got to laugh really.

They still haven't learned what is going on.

DO people like Farage? Some might, others don't, like myself, but liking him isn't the point. The focus of the hatred of Farage is highlighting what is wrong with politics in Britain. It's being seen by many that the British electorate is only allowed to choose between voting for potential candidates that the "establishment" has ordained "acceptible" to vote for, and that you cannot support a politician once they have decided they are unlikeble, lest you be associated with them and their unsavoury political opinions.

Nobody should feel like they are being coerced to vote for a particular candidate or else they will face consequences that could affect their livelihoods as a result from mass mob mentality hounding them as a pariah of society, but that is exactyl what is happening and people are beginning to get fed up with it, and it's fuelling the support for Farage and the Brexit Party.

Marr's performance was woeful. This was an opportunity to answer the questions people want to know about the Breixt Party, to LEARN what their policies are that critics say they don't have, to understand what their manifesto might look like and what does he focus on? Past comments in a public smear spectacle and gotcha statements. This is what people are fed up with; the obsession with personalities over policies. Two weeks before the European Elections, a chance to speak to the leader of this new leave supporting party, a chance for the wider viewing public to understand preciesly, from their own mouths and not hyperbole from their critics, what the party stands for, and Marr completely ignores it to go on a Cathy Newman style "yeah, but you said..." form of questioning.

In a nutshell!

Farage is the same as Trump, a lying chancer.

And no-one cares. This was a chance to learn about the party itself, but no, personalities are once again the focus and people are getting sick of it.

The fact that this is still what the likes of you are obsessed with focusing on is one of the reasons the BP is polling at 34%.

No one cares that the person asking for their trust and votes is a proven liar of monumental proportions. Okay

In the main the people of this country deride and laugh at Trump. Many of them completely lack the awareness to see they are supporting our own version.

Farage is poison and this will not end well.

No, no one cares that in an opportunity to ask what the Brexit Party will be focusing on, instead we get more Farage assaults which nobody cares about as we already know what has been said a million times before, so why keep reiterating it.

Just as nobody cares that Trump IS a buffoon, so why keep mentioning it. Talk about what his plans are, what his future policies are, what his aims are. THAT is what people are fed up with not hearing, and what no-one cares about. We care about their policies, not their personalities, but people like you DO care, way too much, and tend to twist what others say, like your first sentence which wasn't the sentiment I was making, at all.

You are correct, this will not end well, for you, because you, and here Marr, focused on the wrong aspects about why people are voting the way they are and assuming it means something else, which is only serving to piss people off and vote against you. And so the cycle continues.

I really can’t be arsed to respond right now but saying it won’t end well for me is very strange. We live in the same country and will be affected by whatever comes down the road.

I care not a jot about winning arguments I care about the future of this country and the wider world for me children and their children.

Same here, and ignoring a large percentage of the populous because "they don't think it's a good idea" is a serious issue.

I don't think it's a good idea to have the Tories OR Corbyn's Labour in power at the next GE, but people will likely vote for either one of them to be in power, won't they, which is something everyone must accept.

To cut a long story short, what you appear to be saying is that Andrew Marr had a great performance in this interview? Well, I and many others disagree.

Greatest Prime Minister since the 50’s.

Proud to have Blair representing my views.

A bit off topic but Blair was spot on re Brexit on Sky whereas Farage is Trump- light in his style and is short on details and lies a lot

That said. People don’t care, they will still buy Farage’s ‘if only x,y,z’ when they are in the dole queue and the cost of living goes up
