Just wondering if anyone on here has one of these and if so are they any good

Yes I have one.

It plugs into the HDMI socket and I stream football and films.

I usually watch HD football from the footy online website but I also have skysports available on XMBC. ALternatively you could watch football on Sopcast..

You can also watch films via icefilms on XMBC - has all the latest films on there.

You dont have to buy an android box though, you could do all this via an android phone if you have a connector to your telly.

Cheers for that, I wasn't sure if it was worth gettin one but I might give it a whirl, is it ok for all the sat 3pm games

Whats xbmc?

Here you go pal, <a class="postlink" href="http://xbmc.org/download/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://xbmc.org/download/</a>

Once thats installed, you want the Fusion add on which lets you install a load of movie/sports plugins etc You can get it from here with instructions on how to do so included: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.xbmchub.com/blog/2012/04/24/fusion-easy-addon-installation-for-xbmc/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.xbmchub.com/blog/2012/04/24/ ... -for-xbmc/</a>

Ive the Samsung Galaxy Note II phone...what connector do i need? Can i then get all i need, software wise, for my phone...at the other links posted in this thread?

you need an MHL to HDMI cable to connect to a display from your mobile.

netbooks are also a very good choice for streaming, and have full computer functionality for quite a low price.

I've got one. The G-Box Midnight one. It's great apart from I can't get most of the streams to work on Sportsdevil? The mypremium.tv links for sky sports don't work???? Anyone else had this problem??

Thanks

Look at installing navi x, you can get the football streams on there sports devil is too unreliable.

Yeah I've got Navi X but find that unreliable for sports streams.
