Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole feels that Manchester City are not quite good enough to win a Premier League title.

The 39-year old, who won five titles at Old Trafford, believes that the style of football played under Roberto Mancini will not cut it although he does predict that the Citizens will surely be up and around the mark for years to come.

"They'll be up there, but challenging realistically to win it playing the way they do?" said Cole. "I don't think the Premier League can be won the way they play football.

"You can't go to the Emirates, come away with a draw, and think that's a good result.

"Manchester United can't come to Eastlands with you sitting back and being delighted with a draw when you're the home team.

"We're totally different to the Italian league. Here, you must score goals, people want to be on the edge of their seats.

"The Barclays Premier League is the most exciting league in the world and goals are what it's about. Mancini's Italian and you can't see him changing his mindset.

"They wanted to finish in the Champions league spots this season, fair enough. But if they're saying they want to win the Premier league...playing like that?!

"Let's be brutally honest, I don't think any team can win the Premier league playing like that."

I love watching us play football. The way the likes of De Jong, Zab, Vinnie, Tevez, Richards, Lescott etc fight tooth and nail to win the ball back is excellent. Then when we have it, watching Silva, Yaya, Tevez, Balo, etc link up is a joy. I love how we get the full backs bombing forward, allowing our wide men (Silva in particular) to actually play as another central midfielder. Then, when Tevez drops deep we overwhelm our opposition, effectively having De Jong, Yaya, Barry, Silva and Tevez in the centre of the pitch, often against just 2 or 3 opponents! That's how we are able to dominate plenty of our games with ease. Some of our passing movements are extremely accomplished.

And as for Cole's comments about the Arsenal game... considering we sit 1 point above them in 3rd, with just 1 game to go, i think it WAS a good point you rag twat.
