Met him at Mcr airport once .... gormless tw*t !! Still had that "eyebrows up whoops I've skyed it over the bar" look !
We have played a lot of good football at times in terms of creating chances and some beautiful passing and movement, rarely have we dished out a spanking though. Bolton and Blackpool (at home) stand out to me as matches where we could have give them a thrashing. Being more clinical is a must. It's also been infuriating at times and we've sat back and taken it. Fairly often it's felt like we've been under siege in our own stadium for large parts of games. Even against Spurs it was like that. I have belief we can go on to do it though. I also think it's excellent long-term strategy that we're establishing such a superb and youthful-ish (pushing it with Lescott) backline including an academy graduate and someone who's as good as an academy graduate, possibly with Boyata as well to bolster the backline 'squad', and I hear good things about Abu. This is enormously positive and nothing whatsoever to be ashamed of. I think the vast majority of great teams are built from the back, on a strong defensive foundation, we're setting ourselves up nicely for a dynasty here.Project said:It feels like I'm the only one who believes we play good football.
