Andy Dibble - Tales of Blue

Officially left his role as Goalie Coach for Accy Stanley today.

Had knee replacement surgery in Nov 2024 so was unable to carry out his role since then, and was back under the knife earlier this month as it wasn't entirely successful, which has led to him leaving.

Says he he looking to return once fully recovered.

Apart from being a bit of a rough memory for us during a particularly grim spell in our history, I’ll always remember Dibble as the guy who went from being our third-choice keeper in a truly dreadful side to playing in one of the biggest Old Firm games in living memory.

Rangers signed him on an emergency loan, and he made his debut at Celtic Park. Rangers won that match, effectively sealing their ninth league title in a row. I think he played another game or two for them, but after that, he completely dropped off my radar.
