Bigged us up big time this morning... said we would win the title, that we were looking like a team and that Mancini has done a good job.

Us or United for me-we have the best squad so yes why not.

Well I wouldn't agree but yesterday's match showed something unexpected, City performed the worst we've seen for ages and everyone admitted it, but we only lost 3-2.

If we'd have won it would have been, dare I say it, 'United esc.' What it proved is that one of United's best performances only yielded a few good chances. Considering it is conceivable that City would have defended better if the game actually mattered, Joe Hart didn't actually really make a save, their goalie was pretty awful....all bodes well for a good season.
 
Has a point. Times journo's have 4 going for manu and 3 going for us. Pretty much everyone has it a Manchester 1/2 finish.

Heck we played below par yesterday and went in at HT 2-0 against their 'better side' and with Hart not making a save worth speaking of so put down the worry beads and relax

United DID NOT have give one of their 'best performances'. Rooney was quiet, De Gea conceded a shit goal, second choice centre backs for second half, Danny Wellbeck, 4th choice striker, started up front.

Everyone is in dreamland if they think that's the best the rags have to offer, they are well capable of stepping it up a gear.
 
to be fair to him for the past couple of seasons he`s bigged us up and said we`re going to win things,even when he was on sky with the baboon keys he would always fight our corner whilst keys would try and get his digs in....

Bollocks. They played well in terms of possession and we never matched their energy levels. The CB pairing in the 1st half was their first choice and you don't think its significant that De Gea who cost £20m was left flapping in the wind? We went in 2-0 without playing that well save for the last 15mins of the 1st half. Of course they can step up a gear but we never got out of second.

Try seeing the match objectively as you can bet your life Taggart will be focusing on how and why they went 2-0 down and correcting that rather when wanking over a 3-2 comeback. Both sides have issues that need addressing. Ours was more about attitude than anything else.

IMO ours was just a matter of match fitness the rags looked 100% fit we didn't. Nothing to worry about though in a months time we should be 100% fit and absolutely destroying teams.

Fitness may have been an element as Taggart was talking about getting off to a flyer this year but am still going with attitude or basically I'm agreeing with Hart's post match vid...
