Andy Morrison diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome

Very sad news. What a brilliant servant for the club. We wouldn't be where we are today without his contribution.

He told Andy he was his dads favourite ever City player and that I have a picture of him lifting the 99 Play Off Trophy next to my bed along with my wedding day photo.

I appreciate money is tight at the moment but wonder how Andy's finances are?

In June 2022, Justin Bieber announced he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome (RHS), a rare virus that caused facial paralysis, forcing him to cancel his "Justice" world tour. The condition resulted from a shingles outbreak affecting nerves in his ear, causing paralysis, pain, and difficulty blinking or moving one side of his face.

A shingles inoculation (vaccine) can help prevent Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS), but it is not a treatment for an active infection. Because Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the reactivation of the same virus that causes shingles (varicella-zoster virus), the shingles vaccine is highly effective at reducing the risk of developing this complication.
 
Get well soon Andy. A warrior and a leader on the pitch when we most needed one. Although he played for a few teams we are his club.

We were sat outside a bar just off that long pedestrianised shopping street near Taksim Square on the morning of the final
Next thing we heard from a few hundred yards away, the first chants of “Oh Andy Andy”…
Got louder and louder until the man himself appeared, being mobbed by pockets of blues as he walked along the street
A few Inter fans who were sitting nearby looked proper confused!

One of,if not the most important players in our history. We were going nowhere fast and getting bullied on the pitch before this man mountain signed. They didn't fuckin bully any longer! So imagine if Andy Morrison didn't sign for us that season? the odds are, we wouldn't of gone up..think about those repercussions? Another season in that division(at least) would of finished us off(for the short to mid term at least) maybe no Etihad, maybe no Frank,who introduced Khaldoun. Never under estimate this man's importance to this proud old club. #LEGEND.

Wonder if we were in the same bar. We sat outside and met a load of Urmston Blues
