Good, we have had too many Mr Nice Guys up front for us over the years, the ones that are team players, will run about all day and score 5 goals a season cough cough Vass!

All top strikers have a greedy side to them, its what makes them stand out from the rest! I see the same greedy, selfish streak in Sturridge and that along with his undoubted talent makes me think that we have someone special on our hands!

And we all remember how well it worked out last time Anelka played for City, don't we? :)

Well i remember a guy scoring a shedfull of goals in a struggling team if thats what you mean? It seems to me too many City fans want a load of players in the team who all get on and dont seem to be that concerned whether they are any good or not. Give me a team of 11 Anelkas over a team of 11 Vassells any day of the week.

However, I am interested in Dubai Blue's comments about the importance (or lack of) of his goals.
