am using a pc to do some work and every time i open up a new page a chicken squawks, you close it down and theres a big fucking splash sound. v.annoying. how do you turn it off.

if using xp??
open control panel
select sound and audio devices
click the Sounds ab at the top
change Sound scheme to WIndows Default
see if that helps
