Another big clearout ahead this summer!

Not sure we'll see the back of 20+ but actually most of those mentioned are probably not top 4 players.

We need a creative midfielder, attacking fullback and top class finisher.
On the wishlist would be Iniesta, Maicon and Torres.

Ones to cash in on are
SWP.....can't control it, can't pass it and can't shoot straight)
Richards... as above
Ireland.....lost it for some reason
Jo.....never had it
Bejani.....as above
Caicedo.....ditto
Petrov.....doesn't give a s**t
Robinho......as above

I think there will be a huge clear-out this summer, POSSIBLY 20+ PLAYERS! some I'll be happier to see the back of than others, but this is my list of 10 I expect will certainly be shown the door,(or ask to move on for 1st team football elsewhere), & a further 10 who I really wouldnt be suprised to see go -

Ned
SWP
Garrido
Sylvinho
Petrov
McGivern
Logan
Etuhu
Benjani
Jo

Plus possibly-

Robinho
Ireland
Santa Cruz
Bojinov
Caicedo
Taylor
Weiss
Hart
Toure
Bellamy
Pure bollocks!

Well I hope we can get some of our promising young attacking players like Mak, Guidetti, Ball, and/or Nimley out on loan next season. All of them have great potential and all are ready for at least lower league football, as high as the Championship.

First time poster so be gentle with me!!
Went to first City match in 1970 and have been reading this forum for months and I sometimes feel I'm watching different players than some of you.
Surely a pre-requisite of being a professional footballer is the ability to trap the ball, have it under control when running with it and to pass to a player in the same colour shirt. I think City are not that far off from gatecrashing the so-called top 4 and with the money the club has its probably only a matter of time so I'm afraid even though some of the current crop of players are fans favourites they are simply not good enough to take us where we are destined to be. In my humble opinion we are crying out for a creative midfielder....someone who can receive the ball comfortably in a tight space, move forward and split the defence with a decisive pass...we have too many who are just happy to offload it 5 or 10 yards sideways.
I like NDJ's attitude but once he wins the ball he has a habit of giving it straight back to the opposition but saying that he's one of the better ones.
Stephen Ireland seems to have lost it for whatever reason and I'm not sure he was ever top 4 material anyway. Viera is/was class...if only he was 10 years younger but will be vital in our last few games if he can stay on the pitch.
SWP....don't get me started!! Can't control it! Can't pass it! Can't shoot straight! Can't beat a man without it being by accident! Contract up in 2 years and wants more money now!! Definately one for the door in the summer.
We also need better fullbacks. Richards is another like SWP that I don't see how he gets a game.He may be big and strong but a footballer...do me a favour. Continually gives the ball away or boots it straight into touch down the line.I like Zabaleta because he gives his all and he can do a job there. The reason our centre backs are overworked is that the opposition are allowed to get the ball in our box too easily. Up top I think we are pretty good but if you can get a Torres or a Rooney then why wouldn't you. This isn't fantasy football so you can't have the world 11 but improvements can be made.
Out for me are Richards, SWP, Petrov, Ireland, Robinho, Caicedo, Benjani, Jo.

In Torres, Maicon, Iniesta......these 3 would make us champions!!

Got my tin hat on for all those SWP lovers!

Good post nothing wrong with that assessment TBH!
