Bayern have been profitable for about 20 years straight. I don't see what's hypocritical about them spending money. They have an enormous commercial income - the biggest in world football.

These clubs are annoyed because we have gate crashed the party without having that income. I have no problem with it, didn't even have one with Chelsea. But it isn't hypocritical on their part.
You sure they have highest income in world football mate? in front of Barca and Real Madrid?
http://swissramble.blogspot.com/search/ ... n%20Munich

Commercial income in Germany is comparable much higher, as pay-tv is not that big thing like in England and therefore the sponsors have a much bigger audience in free-tv.
So your behind Barcelona Real Madrid and Utd and make nowhere near as much money as Aresenal if i read it correct then?

Who told you that it is about ManCity at all?

It is about all the clubs that spend much more money than they earn and are deeply in debt - e.g. Barcelona and even Real Madrid and a lot of the italian clubs. Ask yourself why the Spanish league started later or why Italian clubs cannot even pay their transfers in time or their players' salery.

It is to the benefit of everybody if you have a couple of leagues that have comparable strengths - in each league but also the leagues compared with each other. The only interesting games in La Liga are that between Real and Barca - them against the other clubs you do not have to watch. Champions League and Europa League are more attractive when there is a couple of clubs that have the potential to win.

-- Thu Sep 08, 2011 6:21 am --

"Deutschland, Deutschland, uber alles".

Wouldn't be surprised if his autobiography was called "Mein Kampf gegen Manchester City" *insert technically correct for against in as I don't know German*

You should check your attitude and vocabulary. World War II ended more than 65 years ago.

Or you should learn the language. Than you could use a lot more words than the standard Sun-language when it is topics concerning Germans.

ffp has been taking at our neck but i think we will pretty deal with it.may be we can shift some players to comply with it.may be milner and adam .they are english and will bring more money and too they are not the direct fit in our system.even tevez will bring about 40 million pounds in next transfer window.that will ease us

.

I'd agree this sort of thing is not needed especially as there are at least two German City fans on here.

Symptomatic of the German psyche I believe.

You do know it isn't 1948 don't you?

Disagree profoundly with this thinly veiled racist comment.

I've got a lot of time for Germans. They're sound as far as I'm concerned.

I don't mind Ze Germans. They're all reet i suppose... But they are plotting, Oh yes you better believe it, They are plotting and waiting for the right moment... Mwaahahahahaaaa.

But honestly though, dragging the entire world into not 1 but 2 world wide conflicts the scale of which has never seen before or since i think gives anybody the right to rip into em every once in a while in the name of humour... Ja?

Hear hear, Maldeika. We can do without that pathetic, lazy, inaccurate, xenophobic bigoted nonsense.

Just read a BBC link regarding the penalties UEFA are thinking of imposing on teams failing FFP. Interesting bit at the end of the article:

But City's Etihad deal has attracted considerable comment from some of the club's Premier League rivals, particularly Arsenal and Liverpool, both of whom are fellow ECA members.

Rummenigge, however, refused to be drawn on the issue in Geneva on Tuesday, saying only that links between the clubs were healthy following the sale of Jerome Boateng to the German team this summer and "it was not up to us" to decide on the fairness of any other club's commercial deals.

Bayern host City at their Allianz Arena on 27 September.

So Karl Heinz gets his own way with Boateng and the toys are back in the pram. I hope we stuff his team 10-0, the fucking hypocrite.

The whole of the BBC report has been lifted straight from the Independent newspapers article yesterday -cant remember who wrote it..i,m too pissed, but prob Ian Herbert.

Don,t give a fuck what Dippers think about us,given that their main sponsership deal is from a company owned by their american chairman....both karl heinz moaner and the bin dippers are hypocrites....now find me a national newspaper brave enough to print the truth!!

Very interesting this, anyone have any more info re their owners and sponsors as I have this plastic Dipper in work that is always saying the Etihad deal is dodgy because its Sheik Mansours company which of course it isnt but he says because they are linked it is dodgy.

It would be great if I could smash something like this in his face

Relax, I am German and I thought that it was funny.

And Lampard's goal was NEVER over the line. ;)

Why would you call it a goal then?

As is usually the case in situations like this, the perceived victim in this instance "avoid confusion" finds the tongue in cheek remark funny and being normal treats it as a joke whereas the humourless, bored, politically correct pedants leap to the defence of insulted Germans everywhere
