Another footballer's infidelity to be revealed

According to the Telegraph:

Premier League player who had affair to be unmasked by judge

Mr Justice Tugendhat told the star that the media should be free to report the fact that he has obtained an injunction that prevents allegations about his private life being made public. The judge overturned an anonymity order the player had previously obtained, but ruled that it should remain in force for another 14 days while his lawyers try to reverse the decision at the Court of Appeal.

The footballer, identified only as JIH, went to court in August after articles about him were published by News Group Newspapers, publishers of The Sun, News of the World, The Times and The Sunday Times.

So we'll know in 14 days who it is but not what he's done.

I was told last week that Tevez and Ferdinand have both tried to get injunctions out on papers to stop stuff coming out (allegedly of course)... Didnt believe it so not said anything, but this would make sense I suppose apart from the "JIH" part.

I have heard a rumour that it is an england player who plays in red and lives in a city on a well known river which is about 35 miles from a much bigger and more famous city

Ive pondered posting this before, but chickened out at the last minute.

I picked up a rumour from an apparently solid source in the game about a couple of players from a side lounging at the top end of the EPL, these two chaps captured on film having a party in a restaurant in the North West region in the company of a popular party animal called Charlie.

There are no names i can possibly mention, and all is alleged with not a shred of evidence.

Anybody heard similar?

The problem on a thread like this is being aware of what is in the public domain and what is not.

I happen to know that there are at least 3 current Prem' L'ge players with legals papers in place limiting what the press can say.

There is an ex-Prem' L'ge player similarly with his lawyers finger on the mute button, at least for now.

The latest story could be a further name to add to my list or it could be one of them.

Its all already been said on PM's, but I must admit to being surprised by the possible addition of a player I personally think would be more likely to bore the knickers off a woman than charm them off.

I wonder what these slappers see in these multi-millionaire footballer eh?
