Another investigation bites the dust!

Two investigations into City’s practices remain ongoing: - Premier League investigation into conduct regarding the signing of academy players and third-party ownership. - Fifa looking into deals involving a number of teenagers signed from abroad by City. [@_pauljoyce]

City continue to be at loggerheads with Uefa after a two-month investigation, based on separate allegations in Der Spiegel, concluded that the Premier League champions were in violation of financial fair play procedures. [@_pauljoyce]

Paul joyce the scouse git.

Aren’t the PL more lenient on that point too though I thought. You might be right.

Either way UEFA loses and that’s it. Everyone else is backing down. Then we can expect a flood of apologies..hmmmm.

God UEFA and Liverpool must be regretting this.

Honestly not sure, I just always assumed the PL would wait for UEFA to do the legwork and if they find us guilty then the PL will too.

What else is there, thought it was pretty much based on that?

Allowable losses are something like £105 million over 3 seasons which is far less strict than UEFA’s regs. If we were guilty of what UEFA are investigating us for, it would be to do with disguised owner investment and I’m guessing the PL regs mirror that part of UEFA’s regs.
