I don't want to drag this out, but...

You are found every day on various threads explaining to the forum what people should think and seeking to impose your views etc.

Anyway - I did not mean to hit a nerve

No - I set out my position on certain happenings - unfortunately for you I ( and others ) am critical of Johnson and his cabal of idiots and your response as ever it to attack the poster ( me and others ) as there is little that anyone could offer to support anything that has happened and the direction of travel. Its not just you - there are a number of Labour haters who realising they can't defend anything the Tories are doing so instead snipe at the poster.

And whilst I am on you fling "Tory hater" round like some sort of insult and badge of dishonour. Go back to the GE thread and see the amount of Labour haters were posting then - it wasn't ever suggested that "Labour hater" was any sort of insult Labour supporters used.

"You may have heard of us..."

Assuming that's not a spoof....

I thought the principle in negotiations was that if you were in a strong position you didn't need to say anything.

I'm not sure what this letter means but it doesn't quite read like the ERG really wants No Deal. Perhaps there's a split in the Rees Mogg ranks.

Ha ! You are so full of hot air you should be able to generate your own power - who knows there may even be money in it for you. Anyway you may go now I won't be reading any of your pointless essays.

Shame - I was thinking of posting why you have posted (another) multiple whoosh post

Perhaps I shouldn't then??

I haven't clicked on 'show ignored content' but I'm pretty certain I know who you are responding to.

He is probably on more ignore lists than anyone else on the forum.

Why anyone would engage with such a person I have no idea.

Liar Johnson modelled on Billy Bunter? Do you think the postal order will arrive soon?

(For those too young to recall, according to wikipedia Bunter was "obtuse, lazy, racist, nosy, deceitful, slothful, self-important and conceited".)
Is that not supposed to be the oaf that chairs the ERG?
On a separate note do you remember Down with Skool? with Molesworth 1 and 2.

“Reality,' sa molesworth 2, 'is so unspeakably sordid it make me shudder'.”

Think it was preferred reading for many of our public school politicians.

It really is quite straightforward: we’ve elected to leave and need to be man enough to deal with the consequences. I’m not sure what people expected, but if the present situation wasn’t contemplated by some as a realistic possibility then they don’t live in the real world.

Fucking deal with it and stop complaining.

The irony being the present situation is more likely to have been contemplated by those who voted to remain. If it really was that straightforward the terms of our departure would have been settled long ago

Consequences? You mean people voted for something with consequences?

You're not sure what people expected? Yet you ask the people who warned of the consequences to stop complaining - because those who didn't listen to the warnings don't live in the real world.

Man up? By just carrying on with that sort of incoherent crap?

Gdm is right here.

The consequences of leaving, whether good, bad or a mixture of the two, are shared by all.

There comes a point where complaining to people who are not really interested in your complaints becomes futile.
