…………... and they voted against it because they saw some slim chance of remaining. They had their chance and they fucked it, on the belief the public were on their side in a future election. December 2019 put paid to that idea.

But yeah, 'No deal' is all down to those who voted brexit. You gotta love the logic on display here at times! ;)
I suspect it is all simply down to the fact that - the truth is not only sometimes inconvenient - it can hurt as well

Odd to get excited and laughing about 1000 people losing their jobs.
You have to give them credit for posting so many responses without adding anything to the discussion. A little of blame the remainers and then just bollocks for a couple of pages.

Here is the tweet again in case any of them want to try to respond in a meaningful way?

You can always report posts you dont like or just pop anyone who doesn't agree with you on ignore. I was going to do this, but then realised that as the hard / no deal brexit was very much a joint leave/remain effort we have much in common. #together #weallownthis #cheersremainers

The discussion having been a circlejerk of "It's all brexiteers fault what happens"?

Yeah, riveting...

Collective amnesia here. The May government is largely irrelevant as it agreed nothing but extensions and to reject no deal. Brexit only started to move with Johnsons WA, passed by the pre election HoC. Johnson then pushed for the election when he then won a big majority on the basis he had an oven ready deal. You can't blame remainer MPs for not sorting out a brino Brexit that they didn't want. On that logic why did the leavers not stand down and let them cancel the whole thing?
Now that first bit is utter bollocks - and I do not think that you are being disingenuous - just getting it badly wrong and not understanding why.....

To help, let's take your comment:

"Brexit only started to move with Johnsons WA...…"

Well - setting aside the very obvious inaccuracy - because Brexit could have been deemed to have started when the A50 was issued - or on 23/06/16 or when Cameron won an unexpected majority on the back of a manifesto pledge to hold an in-out referendum...……….etc.

But whatever is your choice of 'Brexit commencement' - it is clearly wrong to say: ".....Brexit only started to move with Johnsons WA...….."

And - when set alongside your opening statement:

"The May government is largely irrelevant as it agreed nothing....."

Your position properly unravels.

What was the majority of the content of the WA that was eventually agreed? - of course, largely the very WA details - minus the poisonous unfettered backstop - that May and the hapless Robbins had spent 3 years agreeing with the EU's negotiating team.

Bottom line - not you best post that...."

Not caught up with the thread(never will) but can we please give the remainers some space and apply a little understanding. With the news today that Pret is in danger some posters will be at tipping point. Sniff.

Remember it's nice to be nice.

Oh and Greggs is pretty good although low end for those at their wits end.

Honestly can't see there being an EU in ten years, not in the current format anyway
I am thinking that quite a few Remainers will not grasp the accuracy of your comment as they cannot see past their need to believe in the 'omnipotent EU' brand

But you are right - probably a subset will have chosen to go for full-scale integration and others will have been coerced - whilst others are in some '2nd speed' grouping

Classic brexiteer BS. Evidence does not back up this view and even if you can find some that does it's before we unleash a shit show of political incompetency* on the western world.

Not funny she died on 31 January 2020, at 11:00 pm. The autopsy found traces of prawn and avocado in her stomach and skinny latte in her bladder. Flummoxed medical examiner Dr Quincy M.E. said it was the most violent case of spontaneous human combustion he had seen.

You've done it now.

The only way Brexit can be a success is for the EU to fall apart, hence why the head of Bluemoon Brexit propaganda keeps banging this particular drum.

Sadly this doesn't appear to be happening and if anything the spectacle of the UK making a twat of itself over Brexit seems to be having the opposite effect.

Which rather leaves us in the shit.
