If it happens then fine, but I think it will be difficult to distinguish brexit damage from covid damage.
Johnson says we will be back to normal by Xmas - just in time for the Brexit tsunami

Doubt it. If you look at UK growth/gdp since last Xmas the brexit damage is already obvious. When covid kicks in it'll probably be worseJohnson says we will be back to normal by Xmas - just in time for the Brexit tsunami
It already has - the pictures of the covid lory queues have been posted already.
Its because those articles with stories are using images to misrepresent 'facts' about things that might happen - a bit like things on the side if a bus, or the Farage poster of queuing immigrants. Not really sure why you are so concerned about articles being posted from reputable news outlets just because they indicate the impending economical damage and the organ that publish them choose to use illustrative photographs from for example lorries ( note spelling ) queued up in the previous operation stack - I mean its hardly possible to add the link and remove the photo.
Of course Brexit was won with fabricated photos of things that hadn't - and never did - happen

Yep.
60% of voters in Ashford voted leave. Why are they complaining? It’s what they wanted.

Brexit reality and all that. Bit I didn’t get (to be fair I don’t get anything about Brexit) is this bit:
‘While commercial sensitivities made it impossible to consult prior to acquisition of this site, a letter from Minister Rachel Maclean was hand-delivered to all properties on the perimeter earlier this month.’
What ‘commercial sensitivities’ made it impossible to consult the people it will affect, other than the fact it will be bloody unpopular?
Why would they need to be consulted?Brexit reality and all that. Bit I didn’t get (to be fair I don’t get anything about Brexit) is this bit:

They chose Brexit and all its consequences. As the Brexiteers keep telling us, they all went in with their eyes open ready to accept whatever came along to deliver what they voted for.

The irony meter is strong with this one:
A Department for Transport spokesperson said: "At the end of this year the UK will become a fully independent country and this site will form part of our ongoing plans to help ensure the free flow of freight at the border".
