I shall take your word for it;-) has he been out yet I'm working and don't even know what the deal is.
Nope. No one has a clue what’s in it and we won’t know everything for months, and that includes Boris. Apparently it’s 2000+ pages long. The only thing I’m reasonably sure of is that it’s better than No Deal.

dear oh dear our world class testing services are so good the French have sent a team of firefighters to Dover to test stranded lorry drivers.......we can't feed them, we can't water them, we can't offer them a bog to shit in and now we can't test them - taking back control never looked so good
Only Suprised they took so long the majority are EU citizens stranded by EU actions

No, this deal is no where near what the Leave Campaign promised, unless you think the Leave Campaign promised increased trade barriers, an internal customs border between GB and NI, and a 2,000 page deal still being haggled over with 7 days to go for businesses to adjust to a new customs and regulatory regime on which they have zero information.

This isn’t even what Johnson promised in the election campaign with his ‘oven ready deal’ and no checks or customs border between GB and NI.

The deal is as a failure based on what was promised in 2016, and the outcome in terms of our compromised sovereignty with NI is a failure for our own Union.

The only positive is the uptick in turd polishing and memory wipes.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and surmise that you're really hurting today aren't you mate?

Any idea when Johnson's delayed press conference is scheduled for?

Whenever he can announce a Australian Type deal. He makes no money on a deal.

I hope the documentary that followed The EU around when the WA was being negotiated are doing the same here. The final negotiations look like a monty python sketch from the outside.

EU: I'm glad we've finally agreed.

UK: We've just gone through the paperwork and have an issue with the amount of plaice we've agreed to being caught. We want you to reduce the amount by 30,000.

EU: What?

UK: We don't think it's fair. Atlantic cod, could we raise that by a thousand as Gove's mate needs a bonus.

EU: So your willing to throw away an agreement over 31,000 fish?

UK: We didn't say that...

EU: Next you'll be saying we've got too many crabs.

UK: Now you've come to mention it...

EU: *Facepalm*

Erm, was just asking for a time, in all honesty.

And better than no deal at all....
TBF, I think from what I understand it’s more than I expected. Free trade deal with an independent arbitration for disputes.

Definitely. Its a base upon which we can start building back in all the things we want and need, especially on Services. Brexit wipes out 30 years of trade gains, the deal puts a few years back in and the rest we will be negotiating over the next decade.

The affront for me is NI and what it says about our sovereignty and our Union and how little we value either.

Well we know that is the truth from that survey of Conservative members a year or so ago.

I think we’ve said all along matching EU employment rights will be the minimum that can be expected from the UK.

But I’m not sure how much that really matters when we already have companies today that flout the law, and they tend to employee people who are vulnerable to immediate and significant problems should they lose their jobs so they know they won’t speak out about it firstly for fear of losing their job for grassing and secondly for fear of the company going tits up and them losing their job.
