I might give today a swerve as it seems to be gloating and gaslighting day. You, or yours were the ones putting forecasts up, it was simply countered with another. Disregard both, you'll get over it.

A lot I suspect don’t actually care about being in the EU, it’s more an anti Tory thingWith all those counter-positive articles out there, by various sources, I am astonished that they've never, not once, posted one of these positive articles as they search for news about 'brexit'. Unless they are as you say, actively ONLY searching for anything negative about the UK's post-EU future.
They've all let their masks slip these past few months; no-one believes them when they say they 'care' about the UK, it's citizens and economy. Several of them are even advocating the break up of the UK, FFS!
You missed the following sentence:“The result of the deal is that the European Union retains all of its current advantages in trading, particularly with goods, and the U.K. loses all of its current advantages in the trade for services,”
NY Times
Frost and Johnson have played a blinder.
You missed the following sentence:
‘Said Tom Kibasi, former director of the institute Of public policy research’
Quick google of him and he is described as
Guardian journalist, head of a left wing think tank etc etc
So as usual a nice impartial view of brexit!!!
You're assuming that this 'Imperfect' deal will be amended, possibly, by some future govt. I would imagine that before any changes are made, the govt would need to explain exactly what needs change, and why. As far as I can see, this deal will fly through because it satisfies Brexit, so what needs to change? If it's in the hope that somehow we'll rejoin the SM, or any other feature, that would, imo, ensure that govt would not be re elected, so I'm at a loss
to fathom exactly what would be changed.
I seem to remember you being ambivalent towards that. Whats changed?Several of them are even advocating the break up of the UK, FFS!
Stil am, i'm merely pointing out the hypocrisy of those trying to attack others for supporting the decision to leave the EU as wanting to break up the UK but saying nothing about those who actively campaign to want to break up the UK.I seem to remember you being ambivalent towards that. Whats changed?

I see it the other way. Brexit is one giant failure, it will make us a poorer nation. Despite years of arguing the opposite from BS'ers like Gove and Farage its undeniably true. The Brexit deal confirms everything that remainers said all along. Its a shit outcome. They don’t just revel in it they go out of their way to find these negative articles.
It’s very sad really. To actually want your country to fail just to win an argument.
Fair comment. Maybe you can discredit every other contributor to the article. You missed the following sentence:

Or why the new York Times has quoted it.Fair comment. Maybe you can discredit every other contributor to the article.

Or even better post something from a neutral source that tells us why it’s going to be great or why he’s wrong.

Leavers go out of their way to avoid the reality. They are happy to be lied to and cheer on the liars. What is that if its not wanting your country to fail.
Remoaners stance: The UK is a nation filled with racists and Trumpist idiots! Without the EU it will crumble and we hope that it does, because it remainers will have been proven correct all along! When the UK economy fails, which it will, millions will be out of work, jobs will be lost and on that day I will be one of those laughing and saying I told you so! And it will serve you right!
- How is it? We're not even one year in and haven't passed the UK-EU trade deal yet. Are you one of those on the match day thread, who after 3 minutes starts complaining because we're not winning 3-0?
- We're working on keeping all the trade deals with all the nations the EU had agreed with (Turkey being the most recent) and making trade deals with the nations the EU haven't yet. Throw on top the EU-UK trade agreement (an agreement with 27 EU nations, btw) and one has to question where is your evidence that it will make us a poorer nation, no longer being politically tied to Europe, because that is all that has happened.
- No it isn't and you've no evidence to back that up. The UK has returned to it's position as the 5th largest economy.
- Getting a trade arrangement with the EU is a "shit outcome" now? Okay Farage, calm down!
- The reality such as we're going to leave with a deal, we will be able to forge new deals or keep existing ones once we've left? You mean that reality?
- We've never cheered remainers.
- Leavers stance: The UK can thrive after no longer beign tied to EU bureacracy and political association. It is a nation filled with talented people, an economic juggernaut that can attract people from all over the world, creating new ties, new relationships and forge new partnerships for the betterment of everyone in the world.
Erm, WHO are the ones wanting the country to fail here?
You're posting Bolloxs. You know full well our trade with the eu is now subject to a mass of red tape not to mention the internal customs border with NI and total loss of the services sector exports to the eu. And the deals you mention are in reality just putting back what we have lost. We are in a worse position and the prospect of engineering a better position outside the eu are close to nil.Remoaners stance: The UK is a nation filled with racists and Trumpist idiots!
