Liar Johnson modelled on Billy Bunter? Do you think the postal order will arrive soon?

(For those too young to recall, according to wikipedia Bunter was "obtuse, lazy, racist, nosy, deceitful, slothful, self-important and conceited".)

Strange post that

What he said is spot on and you are confused and self-contradictory - let me try and help

1. Brexit support is indeed cross-party - that is just an obvious truth

2. Quite a few posters on here are out and out Tory haters - you are one of them

If Corbyn was PM and supported Brexit - a lot of those posters would become champions for Brexit

If Johnson was to adopt all the LPs manifesto pledges - a lot of posters on here would attack them

As I say - just a very obvious truth

Not everyone who opposes brexit is a Tory hater but clearly 5 or 6 on here are
I can see past Tory and labour and accept positives for both
Hence I have voted in the past for both parties
Some on here can’t understand that
It’s this criticism of all things Tory that bores people to the point where they ignore even the valid criticism as it’s more noise
The fact everyday they post more negative stuff just reinforces the point

The problem is that every day there is more negative stuff to post. Apart from Cummings putting someone with no experience in charge of national security, what's the positive stuff today? (And even "I'm not a Tory" mcfc1632 says it feels like good news even though he's not sure of the implications; now that is positive as it's not often he admits to not knowing something about anything!)

Spot on - again

You have opted to vote for both parties in the past

So have I and I can think of several others on here that are also able to think and act in a manner that reflects being well-balanced and able to assess the propositions of both parties - based on merit rather than tribalism.

Others on here indeed appear to be simply indoctrinated as haters of all things Tory and are not able to be objective or balanced

You suggest that it is 5 or 6 - I suspect a few more - but, whatever the number it is relatively small. Small that is - except when counted by the volume of their posts - as the same posters are all over the political threads with very obvious agendas

Their behaviours/attitudes have only limited impact on myself as I do not post much on the political threads - apart from this Brexit thread.

Accordingly, as I know that they post generally based on their agendas of Tory hating and they would likely be Brexit supporters if Brexit was the policy of a hard-left Labour government - I find it easy to dismiss their views as having no real substance.

As others have stated I am centre ground and not moved
the labour party have moved very far to the left and the Tory’s have moved left towards the centre
As such I don’t treat it like a football team and stay blindly loyal forever more
Also I would vote for the party I believe in more rather than vote based on hating a party regardless.
It’s nice to have options, you don’t get them options when you back yourself into a corner
The old days of tribal politics based on your parents voting for a party are gone.
You have to win votes not expect them
Like labour have recently proved.

Another prime example of pomposity where you think you have joined the dots and created a masterpiece when in reality you have been using crayons in a colouring book and can't even stay within the lines...........my position has been clear since the beginning - if Corbyn were PM and he campaigned for Brexit my position would not change - my view that Britain and Britons are best served Remaining remains unchanged.
Hey - it is all about opinions

Mine is that you are one of those posters that are just obsessed Tory haters and it renders you incapable of any objectivity on political matters.

Every day it seems that you are somewhere on the sub-forum indulging your hatred - it seems to define you.

As I say - it is just an opinion - but it is based on your posting on the political threads.

I can admit to having a tad of an obsession on the subject of the UK membership of the EU - but the scope of my obsession is limited to that area - you do not find me bouncing around all the political threads indulging my obsession.

Anyway - I was just trying to help by providing an explanation - I didn't mean to hit a nerve

You explaining to me how I thought and what I believed was going to be helpful to me ??? You really think you are the Messiah don't you?

I don't want to drag this out, but...

You are found every day on various threads explaining to the forum what people should think and seeking to impose your views etc.

Anyway - I did not mean to hit a nerve
