A question for the legal types. Will primacy of EU law possibly be the route that BoJo takes to ‘legally’ leave the EU, with no-deal, on October 31st? I ask because I think the legal default, in the EU at least, is we leave on the 31st and that that law would trump the Benn Bill. Obviously, as with many things, I could be completely wrong.....

Awaiting suitably outraged @blueinsa and @George Hannah .
Come on guys.
I mean the incredible Hulk humiliated by lickle old Luxembourg!
I believe Luxembourg is one of only 22 countries that have never been invaded by Britain. Of course, given today’s outrage, that might be about to change. Thank goodness for Trident..........

What I don't think is fully appreciated is the level of division within the Tory party. Yes he has the majority support but the level of hatred of him from a significant chunk in his own party (the moderates and remainers) is there and is only going to grow. It would not surprise me if it kicks off in some way at the conference.
I'm counting on it, mate.

I can see no-shows, walk-outs, ejections and possibly a few (cardiac) arrests.

Remember when politics was boring?

Novichok?

Not sure if he's "that kind of Boris".

One would likely nuke larger parts of Belgium, France and germany than actual Luxemburg if one tried. Best bet would be to throw the nuke on Belgian Luxemburg in the hope that in only affect Belgian and luxemburgian Luxemburg. To be fair, we wouldn't nessecarily be surprised when a nuke destined for Luxemburgian Luxemburg arrived with us, kinda depends on sizes of letters on millitary maps i guess, when having to DISCRIMINATE between various Luxemburgs atleast.

You've got to be fair. He was technically correct about an irrelevant point that no-one was arguing against.

It was however enough for him to pompously declare victory leading to the rest of us having a good laugh at his expense.

He’ll now be boring the locals at the pub about it.

Johnson has developed a god complex since becoming PM, he thinks he can do anything and get away with it. If he's proved right this country will be heading down the plug-hole.
He scares the shit out of me,he'll ruin us then fuck off like Cameron did,he is rich so he won't be ruined

Don't think Johnson's that bothered. His plan is to be the leader of a single issue continuity Tory party consisting of the ERG and his most sycophantic supporters. They have already purged some of the ideologically impure and others will follow. They will be left with two thirds of the MPs and membership who fall mostly into the senile duffer demographic. They will have a tagline that they are the only ones that can deliver Brexit on the UK's terms and thanks to the right wing media owned by the Brexit disaster capitalists they will get support from enough mugs in the electorate to be a force to be reckoned with.

Agree but they will not all fall in line quietly. There will be fall out and the shit show he is serving up will have a cost in terms of support from within the ranks. Granted many of the tory party conference attendees will need to use a walking aide if they wanted to storm the stage but BoJo goes from one disaster to the next right now. I just have this feeling that there will be more than a hint of discontent at the conference. It is fairly routine to call him out as a liar right now.

I am not sure but I think Primacy of EU law only exists when there is a direct conflict with another states laws. Whether there is a direct conflict in this case I have no fucking idea :)) but so much was made of passing the Benn Bill I am sure they must have covered this eventuality. But then again the state of things at the moment they might not.

Farage is in full little Englander mode on LBC, its better than watching a George Formby film
The silly hateful **** is proper triggered, he is really angry hahahahahahahhahahaha
Whingeing on about how Europe hates us. No Farage they hate you and Johnson.
This sort of thing is why my well off relations avoided the popular side and always paid extra for seats in the stand a respectable distance from such rude expostulations.
