Like there were any proposals in the first place, its an absolute disgrace what is going on total shit shower. I am now beginning to wish that May was still in power at least she had honesty and decency, genuinally made an effort to come up with solution. The constant lies and bullshit are really wearing thin and watching that **** telling how great things are going to be because they are not. The sad thing is that they were right when they said that Johnson will destroy the tory party lets just hope that the courts and parliament don't let him take the country with it.

What a spurious claim that was that you replied to??

I would guess > 95% of the population - Leave or Remain had not appreciated the extent to which the Irish border could present difficulty

Of course - there is the 'genuine' nature of the issue that needed to be sorted out by partners and neighbours - and there is the exploitative way it has been weaponised by the EU
