Do you really want Johnson to remain as PM?
Yep.

And unlike the rather er, shall we say "slanted" mood on this left leaning forum, the rest of the country probably feels pretty similar. The Tories lead has now widened to 15 points over Labour and Johnson's approval ratings are those Corbyn could only dream of. 63% in the latest poll disapprove of Corbyn's handling over Brexit vs 14% who approve. These are dreadful stats with a GE looming.

I’m no lefty and have an intense dislike of Corbyn but it doesn’t take a genius to work out that Johnson is an absolute charlatan and should be nowhere near a position of influence or power least of all PM.

Aye, what Johnson is doing is working, that's what's so bloody worrying.

woman rants for two minutes ,high court judges blah blah,do you believe you are above the law
reply, no madam and that's why we are all here today

Taller trees catch more wind. And yeah Bojo is getting really shouted out a lot tonight, justifyably so imho. And this is the kind of parliamentiary scrutiny that the courts decided should return. the same rules should apply to pm's or mp's of whatever party. If bojo can't take the heat, he can indeed choose to resign.

Ok, Here’s your answers.
1) Depends on which countries you’re talking about so yes and no.
2) Ultimately yes, but there are likely to be consequences.

Tis hard work but finally a simple question was almost answered with delflection, almost. So the answer was 1) yes 2) no

How fair, how democratic.

It’s not it’s all of them the level of true debate in that house has long gone . The way the tories abuse Corbyn is just as bad as the way labour abuse Boris or may.

I don’t particularly like any of them but this abuse and constant negativity and conflict is just not helping anything it’s pathetic

It’s the House of Commons not bluemoon!

Fair comment.

Johnson is PM though. So he has to set the tone. He has to lead. This is not leadership. You think the Labour MPs who are looking to support a deal are going to support Johnson now? You think the Tory rebels who voted for a May’s deal are going to back Johnson? He needs to bring people together. He needs to bring the House together. Nothing he has done in the last two months is about bringing people together. Nothing he is doing tonight is about bringing people or the country together. It’s about painting himself as the man against the ‘elites’ - which I guess is someone like me which is laughable. It’s a dangerous game.

Fuck me. The arrogance of that man to walk out at that moment, after being asked not too, is staggering.

Aaaaaaand Bojo gave up and left the building. :D Couldn't handle the sheer grind. Not thick skinned enough i guess, who would have thunk..

Pitty he doesn't have the kind of name to fit to exit.

He is relying on being the hero against those moaning politicians and winning a general election
To be fair to him a lot of people will respond to that positively when an election comes

Corbyn knows this

He's in power for a few months and it's one drama after the other. It must be obvious even for the conservatives that he's doing rather bad.

Give over he was In New York this morning

i know i even mentioned it. I have no compassion especially in his current circumstance, eitherway "large trees catch more wind".

And so what, you don't like it?? :p
