Well we'd ask to leave, and then be told by the referee we're not allowed until we've decided how we're going to, which nobody will agree upon, so we just stand out in the rain for hours getting soaked.

It's hard to tell the difference in these days of identity politics; one seems to blend into the other. Example, I used to think I was a dissatisfied, centrist/libertarian Labour voter, and apparently i'm a "far-right fascist, neo-liberal Blairite!" Go figure :/

All I know is that you’re scum

;-)

The Brady amendment passed, so there is a majority for something, the WA minus the backstop. So makes perfect sense to remove it and get on and negotiate a deal that will protect British and Irish jobs, meaning the border can stay open and the backstop is not needed.
The Brady amedment was to replace the backstop with "alternative arrangements". Another vote for unicorns.

I actually meant you lot will be unbearable(even more than the last 3 years). The repetitive bleating about something that may happen has been an eye opener so fuck knows what happens if it comes true. As the Pret woman and blabbing girl didn’t help you seek some self restraint god knows what the thread will look like.

As some seem to think as brexit as the equivalent of loved ones dying I suppose condolences would be in order, I imagine even though sarcasm cannot always be spotted as your post shows I have a feeling you would think I was taking the piss.

A playful gif perhaps to lighten the mood?

For Pret woman and blabbing girl I''ll raise you the Leave campaign saying Leaving meant we'd still be in a FTZ from Iceland to the Russian border (no ifs no buts). Two random vox pops trumped by the official Leave stance. (For stance, read lie.)

Bingo , but there are more important things for our politiicans in the uk and the Europeans. They are all on holiday.

The most important thing we must do on 31/10 is bring this to an end. The least favoured option , but the default legal position is no deal.

However for the sake of compromise a new deal hopefully with more certainty/ legality on the future trade deal would be the preferred option.

There is the possibility of revocation of article 50 and that was a possibility under May but there is no way boris could do that.
It won't be at an end on 31/10. Not by a long chalk.

Repetitive remainer in repetitive post shocker, Anyhow someone on the news before brought up the Irish border, a new twist indeed. Can we discuss this new development please. And not just in passing some important things have been bypassed just for the sake of those bleeding gifs.

So remainers what are your views on the Irish border and maybe touch on the economic impact of brexit. Terry Waite is playing catch up.

In terms of pure travel times maybe not BUT the big ships travel less often than the small ships, so you might have delays in getting your goods transit started. Miss the ferry and the next one's tomorrow. On a shorter journey there'll be another in a few hours. Then there's cost and weather disruptions to consider.
Big ships travel less often?

Apart from Grayling giving contracts for imaginary ships, you can rent a boat. https://www.dsv.com/project-transport/ship-charter

You won.
Get over it.

I actually think you over estimate the feelings of most remainers, I’m pretty confident if it happened it wouldn’t be the same as someone they are close to dying. If it does for you then what can I say? Your resilience isn’t a major priority for me. I would suggest analysing ones priorities in life.
You really don’t need to suggest anything mate and as for resilience, I am entirely comfortable personally. I just take exception that you would question my integrity when you dont know me or anything about me. My priorities are my immediate family and grandchildren so excuse me for being extremely concerned at the impact on them.

Yes, they have longer routes so will take more time to traverse that route than those on shorter distances who can do the same trip multiple times in the same period. Not sure that's a difficult concept to be honest.. These are Ro-Ro ferries we are talking about so everything you want to go on it has to be ready to go on it based on the scheduled time the boat leaves. Obviously if you can fill up a boat you could rent one for yourself but the discussion is about what is the quickest way to get goods from Dublin to Rotterdam using current routes against the direct routes.

Backstop in the Irish Sea is the only chance but the DUP won’t have it.

As someone who lives over here and crosses the border regularly...i dont think i actually know what i think/want about the border anymore.

Obviously i dont want one...does that mean i want a united Ireland? er, maybe...but its just not going to happen, well not during this generation anyway

About time the Irish sorted themselves out tbh. Not being controversial I promise. It's an opportunity that should be taken

Just caught up with this. It seems to give the impression that the EU has no effect on sovereignty. That is not correct.
1. The EU requires directives to be implemented into national law. Exactly how this is done is left up to each state, but you cannot swerve a directive. Failure to implement adequately can result in liability to damages at the ECJ.
2. EU regulations do not require subsidiarity, but automatically become part of each state's law.
3 The European Arrest Warrant changed several country's laws and seriously .impacted our criminal justice system.
So sovereignty is an issue. Note that this issue went to Germany's highest court, which ruled that German law was superior to EU law!

This is fuck all to do with sovereignty
