Id love to know who you think can deliver that out of the fucking chimps we have sat in parliament right now?

For the Tories I would opt for a Rory Stewart/David Gauke team. Sensible chaps. Keir Starmer/John Mcdonnell team for Labour. Corbyn can head it up but they would do the work. Add in any flavour you like from the smaller parties. The only requirement is that they level with the public about what Brexit involves. It’s a trade off. You want Brexit then things don’t stay the same. None of this global buccaneering Brexit Britain shite. Be honest and be straight. We do this then this happens. You want barriers and borders then fine but NI will kick off and if Scotland wants out then they get to vote again and decide which Union they want to be part of. Do all that and I hope someday you will join us and we can all live as one.

You need to know what precisely as of the 16th sept? I know we are supposed to leave on the 31st October, I know parliament won’t allow no deal, I know parliament don’t like Mays deal, I know the Lib Dem’s will revoke if they win a election, I know Boris is discussing something with the EU. I know Labour is trying to be all things to all men.

What is it your after a seat at the table? A daily phone call from Boris? A (Bobby Ewing) BobKowalski dream where you wake up in 2016 and it never happened?
You know Boris is discussing something with the EU? What makes you think that? Oh yeah, Boris said so. #gullible

He could have been discussing the merits of dwarf porn for all I know but I’m reasonably sure he did open his mouth at some point even if it was to offer Juncker a strong mint.

If one was to read my posts properly I have indicated quite strongly that Boris is a pillock, we cannot change this.

Imagine that.

Whilst I agree it doesn’t really answer the post, in the current circumstance that we are in and cannot change what do you want from him? What were you expecting him to say that he didn’t?

The whole thing is just going round in circles he ain’t going to change whatever tact he has for you or A BBC reporter.

There is a choice. It’s a stark one. We either pass the WA with the backstop and spend most of the next decade in transition as we struggle to strike a future relationship deal with the EU which given we have zero consensus on what we actually want going forward will be subject to periodic change of direction with every new Govt or we cancel Brexit.

The reason why we are going round in circles as that no one in Govt or in the main opposition party wants either of these two options. We are frightened by the reality of both. We have created a monster we cannot control.

Johnson is a fucking man baby who storms off when things aren't going his way - the idea that anybody - the EU or foreign trade bodies are going to take the ace negotiator seriously is pie in the sky.

Mrs Johnson signs up to a new lease on a car and proudly goes home to Boris to show him the deal. Boris says " no - I can do better than this" and heads down to the dealership.

" I want to renegotiate this deal " says Mr Johnson. " We have signed papers covering that deal Mr Johnson " says the salesman.

"No" says Mr J. " I will not allow this deal to pass". " Ok" says the salesman " what is it you need? A bigger deposit? A lower monthly payment? A longer term? "

" I think a deal can be done" says J. " Not sure I get you " says the salesman " can you let me know what you want"

Johnson turns to the sales manager and says " Talks are positive and we are moving to a deal" Salesman says to his boss " he wants a deal he says. He says a deal can be done but he won't tell me what he wants."

Sales manager say to J " so can you tell us what you need please? A longer lease period? Lower monthly payments? " J replies " Ah... ah.... I am sure that a deal is entirely possible the dealership just needs to move on what they want". Dealership says " we don't want anything more - we have signed lease papers we have a deal. Mr J says he wants to regnegotiate but won't tell us what he wants to change the deal so we can consider if its possible."

" ah ...ah says Johnson... if we cannot get the deal done that we both want then I will walk away". " Fair enough says the dealer. Do that you won't have a car at all and expect a visit from the bailiffs for not honouring the payments on the lease deal Mrs J has already signed."

You mean: WE WENT WITH THE NORMANS TO MASSACRE SOME WELSH. You need to propperly discriminate, We had our local stormtroopers brigade at Hasting lad.
Just one Fleming is mentioned as present at the Battle at Hastings, Eustace of Boulogne. By 1086 a further 15 with their serfs had been imported to replace the butchered population in England and occupied a few hundred empty settlements.

The Norman conquest of Wales was postponed until 1093 and after the destruction of the Welsh tribes Flemings were again shipped in to replace the slaughtered indigenous population.
On the Flemings
‘The inhabitants of this province derived their origin from Flanders, and were sent by King Henry I to inhabit these districts; a people brave and robust, ever most hostile to the Welsh; a people, I say, well versed in commerce and woollen manufactories; a people anxious to seek gain by sea or land, in defiance of fatigue and danger; a hardy race, equally fitted for the plough or the sword; a people brave and happy’. Geraldus Cambrensis, Itinerary Through Wales, 1188

We were discussing Boris and his interview none of the above is relevant to our discussion, we are where we are wanting something different is for the fairies.

I will try again

Boris doesn’t know what will happen
He may hope for one outcome
He may fear another outcome
He may be having a laugh at everyone’s expense
Parliament don’t know what will happen
The EU don’t know what will happen
You don’t know what will happen
I don’t know what will happen

So what update or inside info were you expecting the pillock to diverge to a reporter and subsequently you?

An honest appraisal of the situation and the choice that will have to be made. May actually did say this at the end of her tenure. It’s either the WA or it’s no Brexit. Instead the Tory Party decided to rerun the last three years in the last three months because they didn’t like either option. No deal is a fantasy Brexit. The unspeakable reality for the Tories is that they and the U.K. cannot avoid the EU. We are tethered too it. We can’t ignore it. We can’t escape its pull.

That is what I want from Johnson or anyone really. Someone who ultimately tells it as it is. And then we chose. Brexit via the WA and endless negotiations with the EU or no Brexit.

Falls down at the end plus your making a presumption that deals cannot be changed

You have decided that all the above is set in stone and you may very well be right. Johnson isn't going to admit to this even if it's true. You are arguing what you want or think what will happen. I'm just telling you you ain't getting it today or tomorrow. You are going to have to wait a few weeks at least like the rest of the continent.

You may get lucky he could be on one final big bluff and then revokes or resigns. No need to cancel any engagements to celebrate just yet.

Like I said there is no update for you.

Absolutely right. You won’t get that from Johnson though.
The only way to get Parliament to vote for anything anytime soon is to put May’s deal back on the table with an amendment for a ratification vote by the electorate, where we remain if the electorate rejects it. It’s always been the case but we’ve had to go through the motions of pretending there is another possible outcome until it’s proven beyond doubt to be a fallacy. The time for other outcomes was straight after the vote when we could have gone for Norway+/EFTA/EEA, but it’s far too late for that now.

not making any presumptions - thats you - I was just parodying how things appear at the moment

Yeah but the lease was legally binding coz Mrs Johnson(obviously a remainer) has signed it and probably without haggling and telling the salesman how desperate she was for the car and would happily pay the salesman’s asking price.

I think Boris May find her knickers on the back seat which would be ironic for him:-)
