Corbyn and his Communist union sponsors are not capable of leading the Labour Party anywhere near power via a GE. There are unfettered capitalists on each side of the channel but our lot are divided between those who want to embraced by the mighty USA and its cohorts and those whose financial interests lie principally with our continental friends and allies.
We're headed inexorably for a No Deal - BoJo/Farage Axis and the only hope of rescue is the announcement this morning that Rory Stewart has resigned from the Tory Party - watch this space!
There is a fairly simple scenario where Corbyn ends up P.M , not by leading the Labour party simply by default.

Any questions tonight from Liam Fox's constituency.

Justice Secretary Robert Buckland, the leader of the Brexit Party Nigel Farage, the shadow Secretary of State for International Trade Barry Gardiner and the author Jeanette Winterson

That sounds like only Winterson to represent the majority of the population that now wants to remain.

Is it just me that thinks Barry Gardiner sounds like a character made up by Bob Mortimer?

Good stuff Georgie, not seen the Commie word used for a few days.

I'm prepared to be surprised.

It's important to try to be accurate about what the Labour Party has become - just a host for CP parasites and after their feast they will leave it a hollow shell.

Doesn't solve it at all. It needs customs checks. If you add in a CU then you have a solution but the Tories will never have that.

Or you leave NI in the EU 100% but that is the first step in the break up of the union.

Back to step 1.
You're disagreeing with the former President of the EFTA now? EFTA members are open to join and leave the EEA without consultation of it's other members. EFTA/EEA has already been accepted as the workable solution to the GFA as the EFTA has agreements with the EU that satisfies. No breakup of union, no longer a member of the EU.

But you keep trying to denigrate EFTA as the only workable option. It's cute. Because given the perameters you've highlighted, how on earth does remaining in the EU solve anything?

Shouldn't be a surprise just a simple case of following the numbers. For a start the tories start 10-13 seats down in Scotland.

I really admire your persistence MB but its not us you have to convince .... its the bunch of Tory Psychopaths that are pushing for a no deal Brexit

So join my side and help to convince them. Not all Tories are ERG's.

We need a compromise, EFTA is that compromise. It keeps us close to Europe, but out of the EU, honours the referendum result, and the GFA. Even Fargy Bargy at the start was advocating it as a temporary arrangement upon leaving, so it's not like the hard brexit supporters who advocate him can complain.

It's not going to be to everyone's tastes; those who want a clean break or those who want to be part of the EU as a member, but if a compromise beign sought is where we're at, EFTA provides a solution to all the problems people keep raising. All we need is for a majority of MP's to know that we, the public, support it. It's an option, is what i'm promoting, and one worth looking into and making more public.

Because its not about leaving the Eu .... its about a hard Brexit.... loss of workers rights , de regulation , privatisation of the NHS , Collapse of the welfare state etc

Its the Conservative agenda

That's all very well and no doubt an accurate transmission of the gossip in the EU's equivalent of the bar parlour of the Anglers Rest. The harsh reality is they won't be able to 'protect our sovereignty' for us if a BoJo/Farage Axis sweeps to power in January as has already been pointed out on here several times.
Farage has started to call out Johnson on Twitter and LBC, cannot see that happening now.

Farage is basically no deal or bust and I don't think Johnson could get away with that

In fairness to MB he is the only Leave advocate on here that I can think of off the top of my head that has consistently offered a genuine compromise that does not completely screw over the people of Northern Ireland.
It may or may not be a pipe dream but at least he is not win at all costs, no matter who you screw.
