FYI my wife got up and walked out in between the 3rd and 4th vote on Mays deal.

I tried to get an amendment passed that would stop he and went to the Scottish courts to get an injunction but it failed.

She has now filed for divorce claiming my incessant and loud screaming of "Division.....clear the lobby" was a factor in her walking out.

She will soon be back after a few weeks all alone eating spam mate.

Manipulation of parliamentary procedure to suit personal political goals is wrong whoever does it. We all pick the lies that suit our own view I suppose.

Of course both are wrong but they’re not equally wrong in the same way.

Manipulating parliamentary procedure to open parliament, to say thank you to the speaker isn’t anywhere close to the same level of the manipulation of the Queen and parliamentary procedure, to shut MP’s out and suspend our democracy.

It’s like comparing illegally owning a gun to shoot vermin on your property, to illegally owning a gun to shoot people.

I’m sure they are more than happy to continue to repeat the same arguments over and over as they have for the previous thousands of pages and ignore a little lighthearted quip.

No one is forcing you to read it.

There’s many threads I don’t enjoy on here so I stay out of them.

Because he believed it was and it was until the court made a judgement to say otherwise.

That's how courts and judgements work or at least i think they do as i am no lawyer?

I’ve just said exactly the same.

My earlier post says “in his defence the Attorney General told Johnson, in private, it was legal”.

So we agree.

Becoming a regular occurrence on the brexit threads.

She was shagging a remainer but his cum voice was "Stooooooooooooooooooooop Brexiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit"

Think the final straw was when she was voting on Strictly come dancing and he wouldn't stop telling her it was an illegal vote and that she didn't know what it was she was voting for.

"The Tango" she said but for hours and hours all he kept saying was "yeah but what was the tango?"

We do agree that he didn’t know it was illegal or going to be ruled as such but lying to the Queen and still doing it isn’t what I expect from the Prime Minister of this country.

That office should hold honour.

One can certaintly examine the sheer intention of a person who prorogue's pariament for so long. Bojo knew exactly why he was doing it and it was to shut up parliament in an undemocratic way.

Do i have to mention what Kantian philosophy says in regards to intention versus result? Even if Bojo had suceeded, it would have been for a bad intention.

It wasn't ruled as illegal, stop saying that.

It was ruled unlawful.

It has never, nor will it ever be illegal to prorogue parliament.

You're correct, nobody is forcing me to read it but as it seems like a fairly big deal to your countries future I like to pop in and see how the good folk of bluemoon are dealing with it.
I find some of the posters quite interesting and their views on what’s happening. I’ve not really got a horse in the race so to speak as I’m lucky enough to hold both British and Irish passports as well as a Spanish residencia.
I think it’s madness to leave but if that’s what the voters have decided on then somebody somewhere needs to get their arses in gear and come up with something suitable to ensure it happens with the least turmoil possible.
From what I can gather the exact opposite to this is happening which has resulted in this thread and the one before ending up being a pretty long winded slanging match.
As for not enjoying the thread, I don’t fall into that category- I think it’s been entertaining, sad, and informative in equal measure.
There are some highly intelligent posters in this thread and they often come across better than those given the job to see this through.
So I’ll continue to pop in from time to time and catch up but sadly won’t be able to offer any considerable insight as unlike many others the final outcome won’t be too damaging.
Keep fighting the good fight Ban. I’ve enjoyed a lot of your input.

It was contrary to the law and didn’t conform with the law so it was both but again, let’s drop the pedantics.

Bet some of your wives and girlfriends are going to be gutted when this is over and you’re not chained to this thread 12 hours a day. It’ll mean they will have to talk to you again, and none of them really want that...

Who's the main contributor to the thread?

It wasn't until such a time they ruled otherwise mate and even then, it wasn't illegal, it was ruled unlawful and just the length of time.

look lets move on as its been great of late between us and id hate to have to come round and take a blow torch to your feet over this.

Fair enough, good post and thanks for the compliment.

Yeah fair enough let’s just leave that point as it’s gone now.

I’m moving over to general footy forum in the hope those cretins drop points.

Cant watch.

The sight of mane falling over as a breeze takes his legs away and the ref points to the spot and VAR backs his decision is too much for me.
