You’ve moved on from wanting every single MP tried for treason, so I guess that’s progress of sorts. Still a bit hyperbolic to call MPs “traitors” for not kowtowing to Johnson’s arbitrary deadline and demanding proper scrutiny for a bill of this magnitude though. That’s Parliamentary sovereignty in action.

Think Labour will probably struggle in an election, but not convinced the Tories will romp it either. Another hung Parliament and more deadlock wouldn’t be a huge surprise.

The Tories will win by 50-75 seats.

Labour will be absolutely anhiliated all over the north and the south outside London.

Lib Dems will gain seats because they're coming from a very low base and remain labour votes may go to them .

The Scots will win indyref2 , as is their right, and we will have decades of Tory govt in England .

And all because Corbyn and McDonnell decided to throw their lot in with the boardroom and gangster CEO class whilst spitting on the cleaners and shop floor workers. But he'll likely get a lordship from it so I doubt the lying twat will be even slightly arsed.

At this stage the Tories have lost Scotland and NI, the nationalist community will never vote for them in either country and they're fucking over the unionist communities. They've fucked themselves in Wales too by not going cross party. They're probably going to get cleaned out of London by the Lib Dems and Labour too. They need to be pretty sure they can take a couple of very Tory hostile northern cities to be sure of a majority and they'll be fighting Farage and Labour for those.

I'm not sure they'll lose that many in London, quite a few of 'London' seats are very leafy. Some are definitely at risk though, and Uxbridge will be interesting.

But not BXP in Labour leave areas though... hmmm
For BXP in Labour areas see Lib Dems in Tory remain seats, there's quite a few. Also add in that they're likely to be up against likely 87/90 (or so) seats in NI and Scotland, not much better in Wales. Not a good start.

We have to stop agreeing with each other.

labour and remain have spectacularly got the mood wrong in Labour leave areas.

Of course they could have fucked over their core vote in the major urban areas which were nearly all remain, bright idea.

The thing with an election is going into it you can draw conclusions but things can change massively on the campaign trail - I think in these troubled political times any idea as to how any election will turn out is best left until about the 3rd week of campaigning - at the moment people are making assumptions.

Of course I do.

Revoke tonight would have been better than yet another fudge which solves nothing.

We either leave with the deal on offer or we revoke.
Johnson's best bet would be to extend the debate and bet on no major amendments being passed ( which is not an unreasonable assumption - customs union and second ref won't pass) and then with maybe some minor amendments ( like parliamentary approval to extend transition etc etc) call the ERG's bluff.

And all because they decided to openly express that which they have secretly thought for a generation. That anyone on less than 45k a year is a disgusting uneducated prole. Good only for fighting illegal wars which their own kids would never be asked to fight, good only for being voting fodder until such time, the first time in a generation or more, that they have the audacity and cheek to vote in their own interests at the expense of the smug classes. Then we see the real Corbyn. And his privately educated front bench.

He's fucked himself and his party for years and all because for the first time in his life he was asked to lead instead of heckle from the rear and he decided to stick with his kin instead. Making a liar of himself , his party, and everything he has ever said or done .

The problem with Uxbridge is fourfold. Firstly, there’s very few Libdem votes to permeate to Labour; secondly, the Labour candidate doesn’t look very inspiring to me; thirdly, sitting PMs tend to increase their majorities irrespective of how their government is seen to be performing - people like having the PM as their MP; fourthly, it doesn’t strike me as an especially Remainer leaning constituency within the context of others that fall within the M25.

Nice thought, but don’t get your hopes up.
