Another new Brexit thread

Or we’d revoke and immediately call a GE and the fans of Brexit can vote for a party that wants the shit show to carry on and the rest of us can vote for a party that wants to focus on what’s good for the country.

Who knows (since it aint happening) but for a parliament that voted 500 to 100 in favour of A50, I think them quickly revoking A50 would be very hard to imagine. Especially since Boris WA passed 2nd reading only days earlier.

Given the stark choice of Johnson’s unamended deal that is almost guaranteed to break up the union and revoking and starting again subject to the appetite of the population for it in a GE may give a different answer than the 2nd reading vote. It’s only got this far because the opposition know they can amend it until it’s unrecognisable.

My brief phoning session tonight suggests that a lot of people are out at 7pm on a Saturday night, and most Labour voters just don't share your Marxist project fear.
