We all always knew this - Remainers have spent 5 years loudly telling us,at every opportunity. The argument simply didn't gain enough traction to win adequate support for staying in. I'm not so sure why it's so hard to understand?
Why was it derided as Project Fear then?

Thanks for admitting now that it was actually Project Fact and you were suckered into believing it was a minor irrelevance.

They're defending their own arguments and even now, don't realise that people weren't disagreeing with what they said, they disagreed with their opinion that it was as devastating as they were making it out to be. Remainers feared what was going to happen, others didn't.

It was a challenge people would accept, as the alternative of staying in and the cost of doing so, was perceived to be ultimately worse.

Haha.

It’s getting surreal on here. The Brexit fan club now admitting that they knew it was going to be shit all along but it’s what they wanted because the alternative that hasn’t happened might be worse.

Priceless.

It's attitudes like that which fuelled the Brexit vote, lazy stereotyping and completely wrong on every level.

Yeah sorry I should have been more accurate - they are the future unemployed and food bank customers to give them a proper title.

Nobody has said anything like that, and again you're just proving the point.

YOU are the ones saying these protocols are 'proof' brexit will be shit.

WE are the ones saying "meh...to be expected, especially when dealing with the EU, and at least we'll be out of it"

Nobody, not a soul, has suggested that it's 'going to be shit' aside from your side of the argument; we're stating that we don't share your pessimism. THAT is the premise of 'Project Fear'.

Thats the depth of the argument is it? The best you can do is doctor other peoples posts to misrepresent the point being made? Actually making shit up sums up the Leave vote completely.

So introducing NTB’s are good or neutral for trade?

If you read the last couple of pages this could apply to a few posters - it seems to sum up both leave and remain completely. I think most of us that still bother to post on here are looking at the same problem from two very different perspectives and do not have the mental capacity to see or comprehend the other view? Maybe we are the idiots and all the intelligent folk capable of seeing both viewpoints made up their minds, voted at the ballot box and moved on?

Is anyone going to explain why spending billions on the introduction of NTBs with our largest trading partner is a good thing?

What are the benefits of increased prices and reduced trade as a result of the costs of the NTBs needing to be absorbed?

We've already told you, countless times. KHW most recently.

It’s odd that you call out people for making stuff up when you can post shit like this. Why don’t you try answering the question?
...Think you've mistaken me for someone else.

And I did answer your question.

Sorry but “The intelligent folk” you refer to wanted to remain in the EU.
