We’ll accept EU LPF rules and the EU will accept something slightly unpalatable to them regarding fish, allowing both sides to declare victory.

That’s my prediction.

It will be a position where both sides proudly claim the victory at the press conferences and they will smile and shake hands for the cameras.

We did that for the WA. Now we’re howling at the moon in anguish over it. Always read the small print before you sign, or in this case vote it through.

Anguish?

I don't think this government gives a monkeys fig about it and have gone full nuclear option Bob.

It's a big negotiation and they won't back down at this moment in time.

Right to the wire, right to the death and both sides will give an inch and both will say they got what they wanted and the arguments can carry on forever, especially on here.

No, the WA is causing real angst. The NI protocols are going to be a headache, pretending there is no internal customs border is more difficult to sustain the closer we get to Jan 1st, and the State Aid provisions are a real problem.

Brexit MP’s like IDS, Baker etc want the WA amended or gone. That is real. That isn’t a negotiation strategy. The WA and NI protocols cut across UK sovereignty. We just pretended it didn’t to get it over the line.

We just pretended it didn’t to get it over the line.

Indeed they did.

Back to the border question. There will be no hard border and goods will move freely.

It was never going to be any different.

The deal when its agreed will be a fudge that allows this and we wont hear another peep about it.

"We" didn't pretend. Lying Tories like IDS pretended (or were just too thick to know). Liars, or thick. Their choice.

There will be a customs border in the Irish Sea that will apply to goods going from GB to NI. Even Arlene Foster (DUP) accepts this will be the case. Even with a deal this will be the case. This border will come into effect on Jan 1st and it is an internal border between two nations of the UK.

It will cause angst and you will hear a lot more than a peep.

Time will tell if that is indeed the case.
