Time will tell if that is indeed the case.

Mate, it’s in the Withdrawal Agreement. When you have the DUP accepting it is so, then it is so.

Arlene Foster says that she has given up on trying to stop a trade border in the Irish Sea and will help put that border in place. Other unionist leaders urge her to keep resisting it - even if that involves destabilising Stormont’

I think he might have his fingers in his ears.

Barnier appears to be becoming quite isolated now which is a shame as I think he's quite fun. This will probably end up with Merkel and BJ sorting things out.

Lot's of rhetoric and muscle clenching from both sides... deal it is then, oh and thanks MoD's for lifting my ban after all this time, I will try and not use the word shithouse again... I promise.

Tomorrow’s telegraph headline tomorrow looks interesting. Not really sure how Johnson is going to spin the withdrawal agreement never making sense when it was the current parliament that voted for it.

Entering into a legally binding treaty by mistake surely can’t be sold to even the most partisan of supporters. They even had the DUP being clear to them on what it actually meant at the time.

In other news the bleeding obvious was ‘not apparent‘ at the time we negotiated it, signed and ratified it. Lying ****.

Think you totally underestimate the fact that anything she might agree has also to be agreed to by 26 other EU member states - just one of them can kybosh it - you seem to be clinging to the "German car makers coming to save the day" supposition.

Ha ha ha - all he has to fall back on is " I am so thick me. I negotiated something I didn't understand. I recommended we ratify something I didn't understand. What I was doing never made sense to me". And the **** thinks he is Churchill.

The fucking animated cartoon dog in the adverts is nearer Sir Winston than this twat will ever be,

No, just that she has a little more pragmatism than Barnier. It was her and BJ that thrashed out the WA actually after months of similar Barnier stuff. The other 26 EU nations will fall into line as they did with the WA - that's how the EU works. You seem to like swearing a lot btw - is it a sort of punctuation or do you mean the swear words? It makes you sound like you are ranting all the time although your points seem well reasoned.

There is a rule about tits? Say it isn’t so. I’m a fan of big banging hoote
Depends how you define Tits. Lots of connotations of the word, if it is of the female type then pic's are required. Not read or bought the Sun for many years I do hope Linda Lusardi type page 3 is a thing of the past... although the internet is a fine thing.

Actually it was Varadkar and Johnson. Merkel‘s involvement was limited to telling Johnson that she and the other E26 leaders were firmly behind Dublin and if he wanted something sorted then he had to talk to Varadkar.

Barnier’s role is to fulfil the mandate the E27 leaders give him. If there needs to to be a decision outside of the mandate then the E27 leaders will take it. In reality it will be Berlin, Paris, Dublin and Madrid who will decide as they have the most vested interests. Dublin will be the really key player.

Ah, the ‘pics if it’s tits’ rule. An oversight on my part.

Best correspondent on European affairs worked at the Telegraph until a recent move to the FT. Another good one is Gutteridge who works for the Sun.

Reg? Though he was dead? He actually lost a leg at Arnhem - or was it D-Day? - and unlike Whelan he dind't fucking constantly bang on about it lol
