He is saying that SSN are reporting Milan would rule out trying to extend Beckham's loan. Fair enough I am not taking issue with that.

He then goes on to speculate that Milan might try to extend / sign Beckham as a way to placate the fans in case we sign Kaka. (ie that this is somehow potential evidence that we might sign kaka).

1) We aren't going to sign Kaka - not this window anyway
2) AC Milan would not consider Beckham to be anywhere near an adequate replacement for Kaka
3) The AC Milan fans would never consider Beckham to be anywhere near an adequate replacement for Kaka.
