Fair enough, can see why you think that, but I think Cech, Reina and Van Der Sar are far better all round keepers.

After seeing Diego Lopez for Villareal last night I think he's do a better job for a cheaper price.

Agreed Lopez for me. Given is a great shot stopper, good positioning and very agile but not the best on crosses.

I wouldn't touch Shay Given with a 12ft Barge Pole!

Agreed, he's a excellent shot stopper but too much in the Joe Hart mould. Punches the ball too frequently & commands his 18yrd box poorly. We need a keeper with presence, someone who isn't scared of bollockin Dunne & Richards everytime their concentration levels dip!!

I wholeheartedly agree. He is also a nice guy and a motivational leader too. Maybe we could let them have Schmeichel on loan in exchange?
