Just my thoughts on the current situation with Carlos.

I am very greatful for the goals and effort Tevez has given us but I now think he has no place in our team or squad.

He might give it all smiles but I have a feeling alot of the team are pretty pissed off with Tevez and his ways and I think we should just let him go where ever aslong as the price is over 25m.

We had him during his prime, he will never repeat his form over the last two seasons again IMO, two great seasons at the top of his game but I think it's only a decline from here.

When he came on against Bolton he didn't do his usual chasing and looked like a greedy 10 year old player striker for his sunday league team, a "hogger".
Its all about him in his world but I dont think we need him infact we are better off without him.

Paul Merson might say City don't have a chance with out him, but what does he know hes just a degenerate cracked head, pig faced monkey in a suit.

you're wrong

tevez is at the peak of his career, and if you think otherwise,.. well

lot's of knee-jerk stuff around at the moment isn't there? - 50 goals in 2 seasons

if he wants to play, put out the red carpet. he is a class, class act.

Fully agree he has been magnificent , I would still love him to stay but if he did I would like a show of loyalty ie he signs an extra year on his contract

Have to agree with Aphex, I think Tevez is going to prove you wrong this season and his performance against Bolton when he came on was quality. Cannot believe you can not see this but I guess you've been blinded with your anger at the way he has treated the club, not surprising really to be fair.
Dont agree with Kippax boy, the guys wants to go, fair enough lets not try and convince him otherwise from now on, lets use him this season and see if a buyer will come in at the end of the season.

he has 3 years, and there is no way he would sign

what really annoys me is people slag him off, whilst he was winning games and scoring for fun, because they felt they 'needed too' because of his attitude

for me, he can do what he likes in his own personal life if he carries on in the same vein. city have enough spin doctors and media shields to make our path to glory a smooth one.

I know just wishfull thinking I dont want him to leave he is the best player I have seen in a blue shirt for a long long time scored more than bellers/ade/balo/cruz/jo etc put together
I would love to see him with Auguero....Dare I say it Tevez says = title

Sick of hearing about him, and anyone who walks around with his name on his casual clothing in 8 inch high letters has one hell of an ego problem.
It's personal i'm afraid now, he does'nt want to play for us, does'nt like Manchester so for me he can go and run with the devil. I really dont give a shit, and frankly the days of City needed the services of any single individual on the field of play are thankfully long gone.

So go...walk out the door....dont turn around now........your not wanted anymore!.......35 million mimimum!

For anyone who thinks City are better off without Tevez in the squad.
You must be blind or deluded!
His recent off the pitch antics might not be everyones cup of tea.But on the pitch he gives nothing but 100%.

you've wildly misread the situation

he wanted to leave 6 or 12 months ago, i'm sure you watched him last year

sometimes you just have to sit back and watch someone perform regardless of what happens outside of football

it's hardly damaged us in the media has it.

You'd cut off your nose to spite your face - ridiculous attitude and thankfully our gaffer is much more pragmatic and will use Tevez as he should be used. Great talent who can help no end in our cause and ALWAYS gives his all. So he doesnt like Manchester, so what, he's a professional, a mercenary and thats the way football is these days.
Are you going hate Nasri before he even signs for us for what he has done to Arsenal....no?? Didnt think so!

Not damaged us ? I would say thats exactly what he's done. Total disrespect for anyone and everyone connected to the club. Sure he gives his all on the pitch, but players have a bigger role to play at clubs now, it's not just about 90 mins twice a week is it anymore. City have bent over backwards for this guy. He is paid a huge sum of money, and while i dont have issue with him not liking the City of Manchester, he must have know what Manchester was like before he signed for us. He has been given extended leave on more than one occasion. Carrying his bloody kids out on the pitch with balloons etc. He was the club captain and he should have shown more class and willingness to lead by example. Where was he for the semi?? could'nt be arsed, he would have pissed on our FA Cup parade had he not been told or threatened with a finnancial wack to the back pocket, and why ?? just so he could jump a flight 6 hours earlier to Argentina. He does'nt like Manchester because his wife does'nt like it because of little Carlos and his personal antics!!!!! He's tried to engineer a move on the back of his advisor and it's fallen flat, in part because certain clubs are begining to see the size of the crap bag this guy tows behind him. I dont like the guy. It's as simple as that.

Carlos tevez one of the best goalscorers and 100% players ever to wear a city shirt, I will never call him, a real talent and if he stays and hits top form even for only one more season their is nothing this club could not achieve this term.

but but but..

we finished 3rd and won the fa cup, with massive help from carlos

we are on the verge of signing nasri, and anything is possible with our free flowing, free scoring team

if tevez came out tomorrow, declared his love for our club, and bought a house on city square.. all would be forgiven

stop being so fickle!

I agree with a lot of what you have said in this post but dont agree that he has damaged us at all. I think the only thing that will damage us is too many fans having your attitude and maybe resorting to booing our own players or such like. Negative attitudes from within will damage us far more then any media campaign. You dont have to like the guy as I dont really but you can still like the player and I love this player - sheer class. ps - see my above comment regarding Nasri

He's already done that on the official site last year....remember??. He has'nt declared his love though has he, not that i want him to. All he's done is piss and moan and look for another big money move. I dont question his commitment on the pitch, but would you want your Mrs waving at the milkman while your doing your thing ? Exactly!! He's a twat who is talented, but a twat all the same. I love the club first and formost!

Don't want him around anymore. Sure, we'll be worse off for it but he's dicked around the club too much to warrant staying here.

Dzeko up front with Aguero playing off of him is more than sufficient for any team in the league especially considering we have Balo as cover.

If Tevez were to stay, he could only be played up front on his own since he's useless with a partner considering he can't pass. The fact that he has to be the focal point of our attacks hinders our entire team's play. But, if he can learn to flourish with Aguero and Dzeko next him, I'd probably keep him.

However, that's incredibly unlikely and if given the chance we should sell him. I'd take £30m just to get him off the books and away from the club.
