Anthony Taylor appointed ref for Chelsea

On Taylor consulting the linesman, why? He was right behind it with a perfect view whereas the linesman couldn't possibly have seen it given his angle

No idea why just how it looked from the South Stand although the coverage on MOTD does not verify that either way.

Luiz should have been sent off (was not sure live as I had lost track of whether the ball had run on to far to be a goalscoring opprtunity) a defo penalty for Gundogan also. As I thought at the game the ref was extremely poor.

Simple answer - he completely bottled making a decision.
His job is to make decisions, and he failed spectacularly.

Even Neville and Tyler say "Luiz is in trouble here" then nothing, he simply waves play on.

The strangest bit - is not whether it's a red card or not but he doesn't even give a foul ! Just comprehend how the ref can think that Sideshow Bob has tried to play the ball?

Taylor bottled it pure and simple. He knew Luis had deliberately blocked Aguero and he knew he should send him off if he followed the rules. He put the whistle to his mouth then bottled it. Our chants of "You're not fit to referee" were very appropriate.

I've slated Sergio and Fern for acting like they did at the end on the match day post, but I'm just thinking now I've calmed down, and if a ref had been that bent and bias all game in any match I played in I think I'd do the same. They must have been so frustrated and angry. How the fuck does he keep still getting Manchester matches?
To quote Mark Halsey's response to my tweet earlier.

@FA Hope Pep takes Taylor to task. Absolute disgraceful performance and the ref caused what we ended with,

Halsey, "I agree, Anthony Taylor did not Boss the Game as he should have done nor Stamp his authority early on.

FA will do nothing about it though

Right everyone know Luiz should have been sent off there can be no debate whatsoever. does that call question the integrity of the refere......maybe....however, in respect of the incident at the end, a shocking challenge by Sergio cannot be defended but for the two Chelsea players only to be booked and therefore rule out any retrospective action on them and future suspensions is I believe damming evidence on Taylor. How could he not send Chalobah off for shoving Sergio over? Seeing it on MOTD taylor was calm saw it all and made calculated biased decisions that will ensure Chelsea do not suffer in future games.

Couldn't bring myself to watch MOTD, still fucking livid but interested to know did they cover the handball shout against Luis? Or the kick by Alonso on Navas just after?

Because Taylor knows the rules. He knows if he gives foul he should send him off. He's a disgrace. I hope he gets his comeuppance.

Has anybody seen a replay of Kante's tackle on Gundogan to date? Looked a sure pen to me...at least deserved a second look?!?

I am pretty sure they did not show that incident.

He is probably sat at home with a pot noodle and a can of skol congratulating himself with a snug grin on his ugly face.

The only surprise I have with this today is that so many blues here are surprised. As soon as I saw Taylor was the refereee for today I knew we were playing against twelve men.

Bottom line, it's our own fault as a club. When the rags played Liverpool recently the Liverpool press if not the club made it known throughout football that Taylor is a rag. That put him on notice and made him think twice about how he could influence and alter the outcome of the game.

Taylor has got plenty of history with us but we are too nice a club to say anything. It's time we wised up. Games are decided on tight margins and everything counts.
