Anthony Taylor appointed ref for Chelsea

The problem we have is we need to pick our battles. How many times this year do we come on post game and hear "the ref" this or that. Southampton and Burnley immediately spring to mind, the refs were just poor, but it wasn't purposely anti-city.

There's a fine line between incompetence and corruption, but it's a line that is there. Refs and linesmen have bad games. It happens and we need to stop being so sensitive about it.

Because if not, when we get completely shafted like yesterday, we're looked at as the boy who cried wolf.
It's not incompetence, to say so backs up their corruption of the game .

This fucker needs looking at, says he's an Altrincham fan
Well I grew up in Altrincham living and playing football for 25 years
I've never in all my time living there asked someone who they support and they've answered Altrincham
I said this yesterday....95% would be either City or Utd....the other 5% would say they don't follow football

Still fuming over his performance. It was an absolute disgrace, he knew exactly what he was he doing because he's a bent rag.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Mike Dean never referres Merseyside games so then why the fuck is this twat allowed anywhere near ours

And he is a lifelong Tranmere fan and lives not in Liverpool, but on the Wirral.
However, he is barred from refereeing EFC or LFC because he is from the same association. He is registered with the Liverpool FA.

Taylor, although from Manchester and residing in Altrincham is not registered with the Manchester FA, but rather the Cheshire FA. This means he is free to referee both City and United matches, as clearly both are registered with the Manchester FA.

Edit: Dean is registered with the Cheshire FA, however, he was removed as referee for the 2006 FA cup final between Liverpool & Arsenal as concerns were raised regarding his impartiality.

The precedent here is that due to concerns being raised, presumably by Arsenal, he has never referee'd Liverpool or Everton since. Surely we can claim precedent and request 'no more Anthony Taylor please'

Alright everyone,

I've only joined to post in this one thread (yes im a dipper haha)

Anyway I thought Taylor was deadful yesterday. Sure you could have wrapped the game up if you were a bit more clinical. But it's not the point is it.

Anyway seen a few of you discussing video replays. Just wanted to say every stadium should have a few large screens with the match on a 5 - 10 second delay.

At least then the biased fuckers will have to watch their crooked decisions in front of a hostile crowd who have just seen what "they did/didn't".

I also think they should have to have an interview post match like the managers do. Far too much power to influence games with no accountability.

Oh and for the record... I think our match with the the mancs would have followed a similar path if there wasn't as much coverage before hand.

Anyway, good look for the rest of the season. Looks like youre going to need it by the truck load with some of the dubious decisions going against you.

Ste.
