Anthony Taylor (of Altrincham)

I thought Fernandinho got booked in the opening 5 minutes, setting the tone for the match??

;-)
He did get a good rendition of you red bastard from the stands, can't remember which incident it was.

Tbh even though he did well i sill think he shouldn't of been anywhere near that game.

The ref was fine, no complaints

I’ve not seen the Sané penalty decision back yet though but nobody I’ve spoken to thinks it was a penalty yet.
Just seen the sky highlights and first contact is outside the box, it's clumsy rather than deliberate and Sane is not getting the ball anyway. Not a lot going for it, in my opinion.

There's very few matches where any ref doesn't make a bad call. Because of this clowns history I think we're all on a heightened state of alert just waiting for the inevitable dubious decision. Yes there were one or two little ones yesterday but no worse than some of the other pillocks we've had at times.

It was a clear foul and therefore a penalty, Blues are not talking about it because the overall display of dominance meant so many other thnings to talk about and this was an irrelevance. Also whilst we are having a Taylor love in, what about the foul on Aguero immediately before Silvas goal. Rag Taylor was not going to give it, had Silva missed nothing would have happend.

It was outside the area so not a penalty anyway. Foul - yes. Hard to say he wasn't going to give the Aguero pen when Silva put the ball in the net about half a second after the foul. Just give credit where it was due Taylor had a good game.

One thing I am shocked here is people saying Fernandinho should have been booked, I was a rag for that last week. He did escape getting a yellow, like most weeks.

The foul started outside the area but continued into the area. That is a penalty. I heard a clown on MOTD say it wasn't a penalty as Sane probably wouldn't have got the ball !!
You are also right about Ferny, last week you were a Rag, today you are a visionary :-)

Did it, if so then penalty but wasn't it a push to the face so don't see how that continues? I was pissed so happy to take your word for it. The thing with Fernandinho yesterday was people probably watched him closer thinking he'd be carded because of the ref. When you watch him closely you realise he gets away with a few as yesterday proved. I'll take being a visionary rag!

He is and always will be a rag cnut the fact that Pep highlighted that the whole world will be watching put pressure on him to act like a referee and not a rag cnut

If Silva hadnt had put that goal away would he have blown for a penalty on Sergio? That would have been interesting and he probably would have missed that. There were no hard decisions in that game as City were that good and United were that bad he didnt get the opportunity to make a difficult call.

amazingly , he reffed the game well - I guess with all the attention he had to behave?

I called a yellow on that from level 3 of the south stand.

Me too. That was probably the only thing he didn't give that I expected. Every time I called foul, for both teams, he gave it. Still not convinced Sané was a penalty and would have been annoyed if it was against us.
