Anti Vax Demonstration outside South Stand

Most of the covid deniers I have come across are cross party cross ideologies, a lot are educated but quite frankly twisted.

Politics doesn't come into this, it's stupid people that come into this.
Most of the ones I know of are white, middle-aged, middle-class, wealthy, far right-wing, anti-immigrant, anti-'lowerclass', anti-socialism, non altruistic, echo-chamber living, conspiracy theory lapping fruitcakes, with a prediliction to also being obsessed gym bunnys.

So, dickheads basically?

Even the Guardian are running a story on how a far right conspiracy theory is making left leaning groups support anti-vaxxers by duping them. I know of 3 people who could be described as liberal and by George they are chomping at the bit with hate for people who get vaccinated because we are apparently stupid.

They are off my Mexico Will Fix It List for certain.

So the sheeple-bleaters are the actual sheeple? No way!

My worry is that if the unvaccinated start to clog up the NHS, the 90% will lose patience. Seeing their own treatment delayed, and their freedoms curtailed, they will demand action and a weak populist government might follow the example already being set across Europe. That would be sad but understandable

Its usually society's burden to aid the idiots

Basically the Daily Mail’s target readership, there

I don’t think race nor political leanings come into it. I believe there are a greater proportion of black people who haven’t taken up the vaccine than any other group in Britain, with white people being the biggest by proportion. But it could be anyone from any ethnic group.

I don’t know any middle-aged middle-class wealthy people who are anti-vaxx, but I know a few working class lads who I’ve called mates over the years who have always been on the left of voting who have been full-on conspiracy nuts with Covid, lockdowns, masks, vaccines etc. throughout the last two years. They’ve come from an outlook where they’re anti-Tory Labour voters and don’t trust Boris. But it could be anyone from any polictal leaning.

It can be anyone of any age, any class, any financial situation… it’s just all down to how gullible they are at being sucked in by these convincing (and to be fair to them, some of them appear to be very convincing and reliable if you’re only skim reading shit online) cranks online. Or how much time people spend on things like Facebook and Twitter where you can get trapped in all sorts of algorithms just by following a few people or opening an article on a certain topic by a certain few people… and all of a sudden you’re only being exposed to one way of thinking.

I mean, I’ve never even met anyone who is far right-wing, ever. Who the hell do you have in your circle of friends, haha?

I said I ‘know of’

Did the interviewer misunderstand? The anti-vaxxers are the Fonzies (1.20)? I assumed Burr meant it was the cool guys who get vaccinated.
No he said they’re Fonzies because they think they’re cool.

very funny about the flat earthers too - it’s definitely the internet to blame.

Probably because it stops the ignorant coughers, you know the ones I mean, the ones that cough loud as fuck, with no hands to mouth, hacking and spitting as they go, we have all seen them, scummers who think it is amusing, when in reality it is a disgusting thing to be doing inside or outdoors, they are nothing but wankers.

Same as the cunts who push past at the supermarket as 'you' use the cleaning products.

The other thing is, what if the virus has mutated to spread further and faster, what happens then if the next mutation reintroduces the killer factor again?

I'm no scientist but I guess it could mutate either or any way it chooses to do so?
While i sympathize with your experiences it is not a reason for enforcing masks.
the other thing is where Scotland is, a leader of a nation turning round and saying that ` we do not know where the present virus is going, but the next one could be devastating` a month after being told that we do know where the present virus is going. it is time to stop the fear and live with COVID firm in the knowledge that should a Killer variant emerge there is nothing we can do about it.
