Can’t help but feel we’re not interested and some have already alluded to it’s either us posturing to Levy that we have other options for Kane or Barca trying to drum interest that he’s for sale. Thing is we don’t need this player, he doesn’t fit the profile we’re after (due to age, wages, controversial). Do we know if the Pep called Griezman shite actually true? Unlikely in my opinion. Anyways he’s an overrated racist wanker and I don’t want him.

What happened to Saul? Next big thing after signing a 10 year deal with Atletico couple of years back. Now can’t get into Spain’s team and is being flouted for a move to other clubs by Simeone (allegedly).

I've disliked him for years. He's a Beckham fanatic and it shows. That whole "documentary" he made about his decision to leave or stay with Atletico made my toes curl. His shite, contrived celebrations are tedious as fuck.

And on top of that, he's an actual twat. Immediately after the whole blackface incident, he spent a little while baiting people on twitter with really immature responses. Before, of course, deleting them all and issuing a shitty prepared non-apology.

Then there's the shit that came out last week. The only reason why he's not taking even more shit for it is that people as a whole don't take discrimination against Asians anywhere near as seriously as they do for other ethnic groups. Same shite, meaningless non-apology follows.

Guy's a thirty year old who acts like a fucking child and he can quite obviously laugh his way to the bank while that shambles of a club have decided to pay him mind blowing wages.

Don't want this horrible little **** anywhere near my club for footballing, financial and personal reasons.

In fact, I want the links to be bullshit so much that I'm spending way too long ranting about it rather than trusting that the very smart people who run my club wouldn't do Barca such an insane favour.

Pretty much my opinion of him too, also not liked him for years just his whole immaturity and dickishness alongside his casual racism and overall attitude just riles me.

You are correct, I didn’t remember the blackface incident from 2017. As for the video, yes it is racist, I just wouldn’t say Griezmann is the one doing it particularly

I really hope you're right and I can't see why we would have any interest at all. I remember thinking he was promising during the 2014 world cup but I was deepleysuspicious of his attitude then because he had a haistyle which compelled him to make sure there was not a hair out of place after every "sprint"! His attitude has deteriorated since and he's certainly no longer promising! Not an alternative to Haaland or Kane by many country miles.

barca needs to sell griezmann. everyone in the world knows he's a dead player. what do you do? you go tell the media the best team in the world is interested in him. now suddenly people might be considering if he's worth taking a look at. simple
 
Personally I would be pretty unhappy with Antoine Griezmann, from a purely footballing standpoint it just doesn't make any sense, 30 years old off the back of at very best two average seasons, added to the fact he has only ever played in Spain, its just not the kind of signing we make these days. Plus all the other baggage that comes with him as a person, we are one of the best clubs in the world we are extremely attractive, someone like Griezmann, honestly adds nothing either on or off the pitch, frankly if he is our option for a striker I would look to muddle through like we did last season.

You don't sign a player like this as a stopgap, its insane! the guys value was 105m two years ago he is on 550k a week reportedly lets say you half both...... what kind of resale value is there in a 32 year old? so you have basically drained funds for 2 years have little value to sell on AND you still need to sign a striker and either give a free transfer, offload(and how many clubs could afford even half of what he is on now), or keep on your books. Basically this is a rich mans version of Danny Mills and that's before you get into the fact he isn't a great person you really want around your club.
